I have been fishing with Darell and on The Adventurous for over 15 years. He is the definition of the best of the best. I was very sad to hear that he was from the open water for his customers, but his replacement, Ben, is a worthy fisherman with big shoes to fill. Last year we bought a commercial tag and got what I am presuming is the biggest 217lb halibut ever caught by one of Darrel's guests. The accommodations at the lodge/aka Beach House are worth it even if you have a less than productive day of fishing, which is more about the people you are fishing with and not the spots they put you in. This is what world class Alaskan fishing is all about. If you are lucky enough to book a trip with them, then I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Been fishing with Darell and Rachel for six or seven years. The accommodations are amazing, the fishing outstanding, the experience is more like being with family and friends. If you are looking for an amazing experience, this is it.
