James was so much fun at our wedding! He was a great MC/DJ and was a hit with all of our wedding guests. He communicated with us throughout the wedding process and kept in touch with both me and my wedding coordinator whenever we came across any details we needed to discuss. My only concern was not having him longer at the wedding. My husband and I still talk about our wedding playlist and how we wish we had more dance time with our guests.

James is absolutely AMAZING to work with. He deserves at least 10 stars. He was our DJ, MC and much more at my son's engagement party on October 5th. From the beginning to the end his communication was top notch and I knew I was in good hands. He is a professional! James arrived early, set up his equipment and was ready to go when the party started at 4 pm. James has a fun personality and I received many compliments from my guests. He had a lot to deal with at my party from playing music, making announcements, coordinating music with our line dance instructor, coordinating music for our magic show, MC'ing our karaoke show, taking karaoke requests, and more. On top of all that, he managed to capture some amazing video of our karaoke show. He connected so well with our entire group of 120 friends and family and kept the party on track until it ended at 11 pm. I will definitely hire James again!

We had James DJ and Sophia MC our wedding. They were both incredible! From the very first meeting, both James and Sophia were professional, responsive, and knew exactly what they were doing. James had a basic timeline form with specific music choices that was super helpful in making our own general timeline for the wedding, especially since we took on most of the planning on our own. We also got our Photo Booth and karaoke from James, and they were both a hit with our guests. James created such a fun dance floor and atmosphere for everyone to dance to.

Sophia as our bilingual MC (English/Mandarin) was perfect. My family told me she was their favorite part of the wedding, and she live translated the entire ceremony and speeches, which was amazing. She really made my Chinese guests feel like they were a very included part of the wedding. Sophia is also an officiant herself, although we had our own. Overall I couldn’t recommend All the Above Events enough, they were truly incredible throughout the entire process to the last minute of the wedding.

Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! From start to finish he was extremely prepared and provided us with all the materials needed to organize the music and run of show. As both DJ and MC, James truly went the extra mile to make our day run seamlessly, and made us feel so special. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. In addition to being extremely professional, prepared, and organized, he is such a down-to-earth and kind, genuine person. He even captured some videos of our first dance and grand entrance that we wouldn't have had otherwise because we didn't have a videographer. This was so thoughtful and truly above and beyond!

We personally added on the photo booth option and are glad we did, as it was a hit. His rates were very reasonable as well especially for the package we got. Everyone raved about James and the music. He made our wedding day exactly the party we hoped for - the most fun we've ever had! Highly recommend James & All The Above Events for your next wedding or big event.

James was amazing! We got so many comments from guests on how he did an awesome job with the music! Before the wedding, he gave us a tentative timeline and suggestions of songs to help give us ideas. Communication with James was excellent and he was thorough. Such a nice guy and great DJ:) Thank you for making our day so much fun!

I highly recommend James to DJ/MC your wedding. He was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. James provided a template and a catalogue of songs to choose from which made the process so easy. He worked with all of my requests - wanting to walk at a certain point of the song, accepting good song requests only, etc. We also used his photo booth services which I 100% recommend doing! Our guests had fun taking photos/videos, and we received the photos/videos right after the wedding. It was great to have those, especially while waiting for professional photos! My husband and I both raved about James after our wedding, and the photo booth memories ended up being one of my favorite keepsakes. Thank you so much, James!!!

James was amazing and reliable DJ/MC to work with. He assured us that he has DJ'd thousands of events, and we knew that we were in good hands. The platform that he uses is user-friendly and has so many cool features, allowing us to seamlessly input our song lists, notes, and music preferences. He's a wedding planning extraordinaire and he even offers officiant, photobooth, and lighting services. While we were trying to coordinate our wedding from out of state, he was very responsive and always willing to hop on a Zoom call no matter how busy he was. He was also just as communicative when working together with our wedding coordinator.

We brainstormed some unique and creative game ideas for the wedding reception, and he led the games and made them fun (and funny!) on the wedding day. He was one of the first vendors present and set up so fast between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I really love how he mixed our music and kept up the positive energy throughout the wedding. He did such a nice job with the wedding announcement and speeches, making sure to check on name pronunciations beforehand, and he even wore our wedding colors!

We really appreciated his advice and many hours of support throughout the whole wedding planning process. Thank you, James for being there for us and for the wonderful memories!
