We rented two rooms at this hotel. There are no frills at all - the rooms are just bare bones, they look onto the street and if you don't want folks on the street to look in, then you need to shut the shade and sit in your drab room. ||The front desk was just nasty - they told us they had adjoining rooms but when we got there, those rooms were suddenly not available and they said their staff was already gone for the day and it was too late to make up another room. ||First the floor had a stain on it which they said they'd address but it looked like they didn't do anything and that stain was still there. My thought was why wouldn't they do that as part of cleaning the room anyway, rather than wait for a guest to bring it up Which is why I think the lady just said whatever she felt like and didn't mean it. ||At 9:30pm adjoining rooms had suddenly appeared although their staff had left earlier in the day. ||The kicker is next: the next morning the SHOWER IN OUR ROOM HAD NO WATER coming through the shower head!! How on earth does one put up a room for rent in which the shower is not working. ||I asked for the Manager, but apparently Mr. Fong, the manager, doesn't come to the hotel at all even as of 12pm. What||I want a refund for the room that should not have been rented out in the fist place. And I want the no-op manager to contact me.

This is my go-to when I am traveling in the area! Rooms are always clean and fresh, and check-in is always smooth. The front desk staff is always friendly, polite and professional... no matter what the situation. Staff is always ready and willing to serve. Not because they have to, but because they can. Consummate professionalism and service!

Avoid the hassle, DO NOT come to this hotel. Our experience with the customer service was extremely unpleasant. First, our friend booked the hotel, filled out the payment form. When we checked in, we doubled confirmed that the room-rate will be charged with his credit card with the front desk. Our credit card was saved only for dinning/enjoyment purposes(which we did not buy/use anything at our stay). When we checked out, I discovered that the room fee was charged under MY card. We called front desk and the lady told the manager, then fee was successfully waved. However, One day later, I checked my bank account and a larger fee, almost 2x the amount of room-rate, was payed from Aloft. I had to call again. I made phone calls three days in a row, hoping to resolve the issue with their staff or manager, but the front desk lady could never get me in contact with their manager. I even left my phone number and email to let the manager contact me but no one responded. We stayed in the hotel on December 26 for four nights and until now I am still struggling with the money that was not supposed to show on my card. So DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS Hotel.

I've been here nearly 10 times and the staff are always great. The building and rooms are in good shape and the gym is acceptable with weights up to 50 lbs and two benches (missing a pull-up station and one station under maintenance was the sin). The Apple TV wasn't working in the room so there was no way to airplay on it, despite the advertising that you could.

Breakfast was great and greasy.

This is definitely a big disappointment. Certainly not a 4 stars hotel

Let's start with the positive side: Great staff, Nice fitness center, and pool looks really great even I did not use it

Staff: Great, super friendly and nice staff.
Check in process: Not the best. I waited 10-15 mins while they were trying to program the room key, machine did not work, switched computers and also did not work, ended up asking for mobile key. Staff was super nice

Rooms:
- size: Spacious
- Light: really bad light inside the room, barely lights up anything with these two lambs they have in a big room.
- Restroom: it definitely the worst. Shower head is broken, leaking water, restroom sink, vanity, floor, is really outdated. shower curtains are a joke. It's really bad
- trash bins inside the room did not have a plastic bags even in the restrooms. it makes me wonder how they sanitize and clean them
- restroom bad handle was full of dust which tells me no one ever cleaned it

Certainly not a 4 stars hotel. I've stayed in 3 stars hotels that are way much better quality than this. This is definitely the last time I'm staying here

The price was convenient.

I was grateful that I could reserve a room last minute on Christmas day!

Room was a good size, woulda been comfortable for up to 3 adults.

Didn't like that the 1 window had a opaque sheet of vinyl that rolled down from the ceiling. It's tough to allow light in, and maintain some privacy. That's a personal thing though, and would bet people that need blackout curtains appreciate it.

Location is great. Very close to 2 major freeways that can get you anywhere in the greater Bay Area, intersected on 2 major roads for local convenience

Parking garage is very small, might be worth asking the staff where else you can park if there aren't any spots available.

I will forever forever be thankful that Aloft allowed us to check in ASAP with no fines or extra charges. We flew in and had not slept for almost 20+ hours and it was early morning and we were mentally exhausted and cried because there was no hotels letting us in early. Aloft you are so kind 🙏

One of the elevators was out during our entire 5-day visit so it was a long wait every time - the stairs were very far away. Had to change rooms in the middle of our stay. The 2 bed room was larger than 1 bed room. Bummed that no breakfast was included. Plenty of underground parking. Excellent location... Walking distance to Target, Starbucks, and lots of restaurants and tea shops.
