Orland HIDDEN GEM. I recently rented Amaris on a Saturday in January for a baby shower with 40-45 ppl total. The rental process was simple and easy. I was able to coordinate over email in a single day because Becky was very responsive. LeighAnn checked in to make sure we had all we needed. The total cost for five hour afternoon rental + event insurance was $323 (after getting the deposit back). (They also gave us additional time outside the rental hours for setup and clean-up at no extra charge!)

The obvious advantage of this venue is that it is very accessible in downtown Orland with plenty of parking. The building is historical with a timeless ambiance and the room gets fantastic lighting so even though it was a a dreary day the room was warm and had great lighting for photos. What you might not notice from the website is that the bathroom facilities are not just clean but handicap accessible, tasteful and even elegant. The kitchen is new and though it is a little small it had everything we needed and unlike older facilities or our local parish hall it is well stocked and has new utilities (three-compartment sink, mini freezer ~6 cubic feet and a restaurant style deep refrigerators). The room has a beautiful hardwood bar that we used for our non-alcoholic beverages. The round tables and garden-style chairs were set up for us when we arrived and we brought our own linens but LeighAnn reminded us that she could provide them too.

Overall, I'm so pleased by my experience. I live in the bay area but my whole family is from Orland and it was so simple to arrange this rental. At this price it is a STEAL. I feel that, much like the Farwood restaurant next door, this is not just a great option for Orland residents but a DESTINATION for everyone in the tri-county area. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

We had our son's graduation party here and it was amazing. Leigh Ann and Becky are top notch. Everything was perfect. They were extremely flexible in making it what we wanted and they saw our vision right away. We had an open house style of party and had probably 60-70 guests come by. It never seemed too crowded and things flowed so well. We had it catered and the food was amazing. Many people commented on the facility and the overall experience about how great it was. If we ever do a party again, there is no doubt it will be at Amaris Banquet Hall.

This is my second time using Amaris for our yearly event, and the service and food were outstanding. Leigh Ann and Becky go above and beyond to make our event successful. All our guests raved about how beautifully the hall was decorated and how yummy the food was. To top it all off we had the best waitstaff Lisa, who saw to all our needs. Thank you again Amaris and Farwood for making our event run so smoothly.

A perfect place for our Women's Prayer Journal Workshop. We had 32+ ladies in attendance. Leigh Ann Byerly rolled out the red carpet for our event. From start to finish her staff was most helpful, accommodating, and professional. We were able to have Farwood's delicious food as well as our own. The venue was perfect and very comfortable. I am so thankful that Orland has a beautiful and affordable place like Amaris for a wide variety of events.

Rented the Amaris Banquet Room for my Mother’s 90th Birthday Luncheon. It’s an absolutely beautiful, clean venue. Bathrooms are beautiful and spotless. Very nice kitchen. Everyone remarked what a beautiful venue it was!
