We had the opportunity to work with Sophie & the ADE team for our September wedding and she executed our vision perfectly. She is very honest and transparent with her recommendations and advice and checked in with us throughout the planning process to ensure we stayed on track and had everything she needed. The software she gives her couples access to is an amazing resource and exactly what we needed. She was there for all our questions and answered the phone when I was in tears because we were forced to change our date. She communicated with and confirmed all our vendors and ensured our day went seamlessly. Four days before our wedding the forecast changed and it was going to be a very hot day. She helped us find parasols at the last minute which ended up saving our ceremony. Our guests continue to tell us it was the best wedding they have even been to! We cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Sophie, Xochilt, and the Amazing Day Events team for our May 2024 Ojai wedding! We were referred to Sophie from a family friend in the Ventura wedding business community and we are so glad we decided to work with her and her team. From initial meetings to the big day, the ADE team showed up in all the ways we needed them through both the fun and stressful moments of wedding planning. Our wedding day was more wonderful than we ever could have imagined and it would not have been possible without Sophie and the ADE team!

A few things that stood out. Sophie coached us through some challenges with a venue we had contracted with before we started working with ADE that fell through. It was perhaps the most stressful part of all our planning and we were so appreciative of all the guidance and suggestions.

Sophie recommended some wonderful vendors to us - many of which we ended up hiring and being so pleased with!

We got married at Taft Gardens which is an incredibly beautiful venue but doesn't have parking, bathrooms, a kitchen, lighting, tables, chairs, ... anything really 🙂 . Sophie and team embraced the challenge of working at a remote/new venue!

How Sophie, Xochilt and team showed up on our wedding weekend was the best part of all. From our rehearsal on Friday, Sophie so clearly established that any questions, issues, concerns would be handled by her and encouraged everyone to let my husband and I just enjoy ourselves and soak it all in. The ADE team made the wedding day feel so effortless and so stress-free for me and my husband, even though there were little things that came up that they had to pivot to accommodate. Our family and friends all loved Sophie and the ADE team and how they showed up for us on our biggest weekend.

Sophie! What a magical human! Her and her team get it done and then some. We have worked with Amazing Days more times than we can count and we are here to tell you that her team is worth every single penny and then some!! We have been a part of wedding days where there might be a small hiccup, change in plans because of weather, etc. and Sophie fixes whatever might come up with promptness and authority. Our couples have never known what is going on behind the scenes because Sophie handles everything. It's because of this that she makes sure the couple is able to be fully present with their family and guests. If you are on the fence about working with Sophie and her team don't be!! Hop on over that fence and know that you are in for a treat, some laughs and a new friend!

Sophie was one of the best things about our wedding. From the first phone call to overseeing the last moments of clean up, Sophie was an absolute rockstar. I chose Amazing Days Events because of all the emails I sent out, Sophie was the only one who CALLED back. She made a personal connection with us and our families and we SO enjoyed working with her. She is personable, professional and so much fun . She listened to our vision, helped us find the right vendors (within our budget!), kept us organized on track throughout the planning process. On the day of, she made sure everything was executed perfectly--she even constructed the perfect donut cake! Our family and friends loved her and we adore her! Sophie was amazing and my wedding would not have gone so perfectly if it wasn't for her. She is quick to make decisions if others don't make them in a timely manner, and she has no trouble telling others what to do but manages to do it in a respectful way (which is exactly what I needed/wanted in a wedding planner). I first heard about Sophie and Amazing Days Events through a vendor referral from the Canary hotel/Liza Gomez (catering sales manager). Looking back, that referral should have been wrapped in gold-glittered cellophane and hand-delivered to me on a Unicorn’s back because Sophie Spier absolutely without a doubt made my wedding PERFECT. I phone screened several planners from the referral, and definitely felt like I could happily use any of their services, until the day I talked to Sophie and it was game over for the rest of them. Right off the bat I could tell her personality and smile would be contagious, like I like to think mine is, and that our casual banter over the phone from less than ten minutes talking would only grow with our relationship planning my wedding. I only used Sophie for the ‘day of’ wedding planner, but I have no doubt that she would have planned the same wedding I did if not a better one (I still have to give myself some cred for planning my own wedding haha!). She did handle all the vendor details for the wedding day, and created a timeline I dreamed about for weeks. Her planning website is fabulous and she tracks all your contracts and payments and guests and seating charts to the point where you almost forget you are stressed from planning a wedding! She also answered every horridly annoying email I sent to her regarding completely irrelevant details swiftly and always offered feedback or praise to keep me going in the right direction. When I met her in SB at our first face-to-face, she hugged me as genuinely as a long-lost friend would, and I always felt like her top priority when we were together. Come wedding weekend, Sophie was A-game from the wedding rehearsal to the last dance of the evening. She kept people focused but knew how to have fun with it, and I never worried once about the quality of my event in her hands. I would recommend Sophie to anyone looking to get married in SB, or honestly anywhere you could convince her to go. She would be worth every penny every time.
