I had to use American Chair Car Services for a follow up appointment with my mothers, orthopedic surgeon.

This company is garbage!!! When a patient complain about their drivers they get ignored.. watch out for a driver named Devon who is very verbally and physically abuse towards the people who complain about him he tried it with my father and when we complained the dispatcher that picked up the phone was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! She sound so ghetto and very Disrespectful and kept putting excuses for the driver's behavior!!! If you guys have any family members getting a ride from this company, please ask if they feel comfortable when being picked up or dropped off....

I would give it zero stars if I could. My father requires wheelchair transport to and from dialysis 3 days a week, which is coordinated thru insurance. On the 2 days now that my father has had ACS scheduled to pick him up, there have been two issues: the first one, the guy showed up 30 mins late, then called the WRONG NUMBER in the system, and my brother-in-law had to bring my dad. We then spoke to ACS with the insurance company on the phone (which took 45 mins), ACS confirmed that was "straightened out" for my father's next ride, and when we talked about why they called the wrong number, they HUNG UP on me and the insurance company. So fast forward to my father's next ride - NO SHOW. ACS never showed up to pick up my father. When my father called the "where's my ride" number, he was told "oh yeah the office isn't open yet. we'll have to get you a ride in about 4 hours". Well, that doesn't work when you are going to DIALYSIS which is a LIFE SAVING MEDICAL appointment. I am thoroughly disgusted with the relaxed-attitude of this company (we had to deal with them two years ago as well, which wasn't a good experience either).

Unfortunately I had to give a star! Please stay far away from this business! I booked transportation for my immobile grandmother, for a special event. I was told Everything was all set! I get a call on Friday at 5pm (one day before pick up) They had to cancel because the details (weight capacity) given to me were incorrect. I was furious to say the least and now I had to scramble to find another company immediately! My grandmother didn’t miss out on such a special day, no thanks to them! I just want to say that I am extremely upset with this particular company and I would never do business with them ever and I hope you will learn from me. A business like this is about caring and compassion and clearly they don’t possess it!

This company came to our rescue when the cab company failed to show. The driver, Al was so nice and transported my Dad right to his Doctors door. I highly recommend.

Wheelchair transport, Company has about 15 vehicles that are equipped to move non ambulatory people. Great dispatcher, usually good drivers, mostly on time service. Clean vehicle, uniformed drivers. A needed Service.
