It was super later when we got here bc my flight was delayed several hours so unfortunately we only got to stay long enough to sleep a few hours then it was time for checkout. We got the jacuzzi suite, 209, I believe. The room was huge! More than enough space. There was a living room/kitchen/dining in the first room then you walk through the bathroom into the bedroom. We had a beautiful fireplace in the bedroom along with a jacuzzi tub. Unfortunately the jets would not work so it was just an oversized bathtub & we were too exhausted to request to change rooms. There was also a shower/tub in the bathroom for if you wanted privacy or to take a shower. The bed & pillows were sooo soft & comfortable! we had a tv in each room, although we never turned either of them on. A full size couch was in the living room area, dining table & chairs, ironing board, large chest of drawers & plenty of kitchen cabinets. The room/bathroom was very clean especially the bathtubs. It was quiet while we were there, we didn’t hear doors slamming or anyone up & down the halls all bight. I love the lobby! It’s so welcoming & unique! Also, there is the cutest little green apple tree in the front with a bench sitting under it & the prettiest flower beds. We were very happy with our stay aside from the jacuzzi tub not working right now but everything else made up for it. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely come here before anywhere to get a room.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. The hotel is a bit dated, but is undergoing a ton of renovations. Beds were comfy, but bring your own pillow! The manager was so willing to help us out and get us extra blankets and pillows. Breakfast was nice to have and it was the perfect location with us needing to be at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds early in the morning!

Overall dirty room. Nothing was overt but nothing was as clean as you'd like. Dirt on wall/around outlets, stains on lampshades and the ironing board. Biggest hang up was the bath tub as it was clogged and I could not take a shower. When I asked management to fix it they just ripped the plug out and didn't bother cleaning it, so I decided to just take bird baths and shower when I got home. 2/5 instead of 1/5 because there at least wasn't bugs anywhere.

The bed is very hard. They don’t have a hot tub, even though it’s advertised as if they do. The pool is closed when we checked in they made it sound like it just happened but going back on reviews, It’s been closed for months. Would not recommend. Very noisy at night. Free breakfast consisted of toast, cereal, or waffles. Nothing more.

The rooms of this location where less than satisfactory. When we arrived we where charged for the full stay of our room which I thought was odd but thought nothing more of it. When we entered our room there was an extreme smell of mildew. Originally we thought this was due to the air conditioner being set to 60. However, the next day when my husband and I both woke with tight chest and cough I examined the air conditioner to find it full of mold. This was a big issue due to my asthma and my husband recovering from a recent surgery. I spoke with the manger and he was more than willing to help. He cleaned the air conditioner and said the smell should be gone soon. Mid way through the next day our room still had a strong smell of mildew and I found that the bottom quarter of the shower curtain was also covered with mold. When I went to speak with the front desk about these issues I was told there was no manger to speak with and was given a new shower curtain to put on myself. I emailed the manger about these issues and have received no response.

Very accommodating! Had a problem with the air conditioning and Michael quickly showed up at our room (early a.m.) and repaired it in less than 10 minutes. Most appreciative with his response and smile. Thank You so MUCH. Our stay was very enjoyable! Thank You Faye and Michael!

We spent 3 days at the AmericInn in Peosta. I was traveling with my friend and my dog. Room was clean and spacious. Towels were replaced, and trash taken daily. Beds were comfortable. Hotel was decently quiet. Grounds were clean and free of poop.

My only complaint was that the bathroom had no ventilation so it got steamy quick when you showered.

Overall I would stay here again.

i made it like 2 am on a Friday night. She let us check-in. Room was amazing! It even had a hot tube. When my kids got loud, she took time to personally knock and ensure that my family and i was ok. That made my family feel so safe, like we were neighbors/ family not just some tourist/customers.
