There isn't enough space to write all the ways Amy is the best in the business. Put simply: she cares. Her attention to detail, geniality, professionalism, knowledgeability, creativity, resourcefulness, follow-up, follow through, sincerity and enthusiasm are why you should entrust her with your special day. She's part therapist, part life coach, all subject matter expert. From choices as big as the venue to details as small as which font to use on the place cards, she thinks of everything. She knows how to tie every detail together. She understands how to execute an event with hundreds of people and dozens of vendors and still make you feel like you're the only one in the room. She makes time for her clients. She also knows vendors everywhere. Our wedding was in Mexico and it might as well have been in our back yard with how easily and quickly she was able to source flowers, hair and makeup, entertainment...anything and everything! Weddings are stressful, but she eliminates the anxiety from the planning and coordinating aspects of it. She shoulders the responsibility of making sure the day happens as-planned so that you (the bride and the groom) can be present and participate in your day without a second thought as to if the DJ knows when to start your entrance music. We loved working with Amy. You will too. The easiest decision you'll make leading up to your special day will be hiring Amy.

I hired Amy because I had no interest in planning my wedding because I don’t care about details, but she was truly terrible from start to finish (about a year long period). As the bride, I did most of the work even though I didn’t want to. I made detailed lists and talked her through them. The rehearsal was terrible and I, the bride, had to basically run it. For the day, she constantly asked the wedding party to do her job rather than the staff she brought with her. She then publicly criticized them (when they were right and she was wrong). For example, she asked a member of the wedding party to start the procession music rather than one of the numerous people (or herself…?) with her to do it. She then rushed over, chastised him, and “corrected him”. The result was that the whole ceremony/procession music playlist awkwardly started over. The flowers were the wrong size, in the wrong places, and the wrong blooms (specifically, the two flowers on the do not use list were prominently featured). The playlists were ignored (party songs played during dinner and multiple times because they shuffled during band breaks rather than playing through). The timeline/schedule (which she did not share until days before the wedding despite weeks of us asking for it) were wrong and every vendor had a different one. For example the bar closed 30 min early and the bride noticed and ran around to fix it because she was nowhere to be found. Amy also didn’t disseminate the transportation plan so the bridal party was left behind and late for pictures. The bride and groom were also forgotten twice (after ceremony for pics and after the getaway exit). Our whole experience is filled with stories I can share. She overpromises and under delivers. Even though her mistakes cost us money (bar closed early, missed time with photographers, wedding sign was not displayed to welcome guests, etc.) she has ghosted us after the wedding and refuses to reply at all to our concerns.

Amy and her team did a great job as our day of coordinator! She was always on time and was clear about the expectations. I appreciated how she asked all the right questions and while our wedding was a South Asian wedding with many steps, she made sure she understood everything that was expected and went above and beyond (printed out extra drink signs, signs directing where to proceed for cocktail hour when we forgot about them). I would highly recommend Amy for month of/day of coordination needs.

We researched wedding planners three years ago when we were starting to plan our daughter's wedding for May 2020. We chose Amy Mancuso out of several recommended planners for our venue at the Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale because of her extensive experience and great reviews. We met with Amy several times and instantly felt like were were in good hands and she was very easy and enjoyable to work with. She also has contacts, sources and ideas for anything that you can come up with, including helpful advice about what not to do. When the pandemic hit and the wedding had to be cancelled, Amy helped us through three date changes and all of the adjustments necessary with vendors, deposits, etc. It was a difficult journey for all involved because of the unknown. A couple of weeks ago, our daughter finally had the fairy tale wedding celebration she had dreamed about and it was perfect! Guests raved that we had thought of every detail and had created an unforgettable experience for every guest. Thanks Amy!!

I am a total control freak and planned everything myself. I created diagrams and wrote instructions for every detail (all the way down to when lights should change colors, etc). Amy was our day-of coordinator & venue liaison for our wedding. I hired her late in the planning process and she was able to get on the same page as me very quickly! I was blown away with how she was able to bring everything to life just as I had planned it. Nothing could have been done more perfectly! The entire day was absolutely flawless & I have to thank Amy for that! We had 4 musicians and other surprises (outfit changes, fireworks, announcements, etc) throughout the evening that all had to be timed. There was something that changed about every 30 minutes and it all happened without a hitch. Not only was she able to coordinate all of that, she was also flexible enough to move things earlier in the evening so we could accommodate some older guests not missing any surprises. I was blown away with her execution of the evening. I didn't have one moment of stress all day! It was beyond perfect! Thank you Amy!!
