Anchor Your Dreams Travel booked our very first Disney Cruise for our family of six! Deb was so helpful and kind from the very beginning of the planning stages of our trip and through the end. She helped us price check multiple options and dates for our cruise, flights and hotels all ahead of time so we could choose what best fit our needs. She answered all of our many questions and we appreciated her knowledgeable advice as a previous flight attendant and avid traveler. Having her book things for us and reminding us of deadlines was such a relief off of our busy schedule. Once it was time for our trip she reached out again making sure our trip went off without a hitch. Helping us via text manage our delayed flights, making sure we received our call from Mickey as a family and confirming we safely boarded our cruise. When starting to plan our honeymoon, we thought we could do it ourselves. We decided to reach out to Deb to just look over our plans and see if there’s anything we missed. I’M SO GLAD WE DID! While we did have a good honeymoon planned, we were missing a lot of components about getting from point A to B. Then B to C. And back home. Deb not only helped us easily book all of our transportation from the plane, hotel shuttle, and cruise shuttle, she also helped find us better deals to save some money, and absolutely beautiful hotel with an amazing ocean view. We were welcomed into the hotel with people who knew who we were and had our room ready early for us, and rose petal heart on our bed and all around the room. Our transportation she planned for us was so easy to find and took away so much stress and eliminated the language barrier. When arriving on our cruise ship, we were greeted by champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and a wonderful surprise welcome. Deb really made this trip possible for us and made it so amazingly smooth and enjoyable! She kept us up to date with flight info, checked us into our flights, found us better seats on the plane when they were available, and was always on standby to help with anything we needed during our vacation and answer any questions we had. I’ve never used a travel agent before, but I can say, I will now never book any trip alone ever again. Deb is the best and will make sure that you have the absolute best trip possible!

Deb helped us so much with booking and cruise prep. We haven’t booked a cruise for over a decade and her guidance was very helpful. She picked the perfect package for us, recommended hotel stay before, gave us helpful tips, etc. The best part was the Port Valet and shuttle back from cruise to airport. It really helped our hungover and tired bodies good. Our boarding passes, bag tags and shuttle tickets were delivered to our suite the night before departure and we never had to lug our bags until home in Atlanta. We will use Deb again on our next vacay.

Amazing Panama Canal and South America Cruise
Thank you Deb Thirkelson of Anchor Your Dreams Travel for arranging our recent cruise. We were interested in doing a full transit of the Panama Canal. Still, we didn’t want to do the ordinary ports of call along the Caribbean Sea or the Pacific Ocean north to California. With Deb’s help, we found a perfect cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines. Each of the ports of call was a location we had never been to. An added. plus was crossing the equator! Deb booked us a great package that included balcony state room, a drink package, three specialty dining options, and internet. We decided to add 2 extra days in Santiago, Chile. Deb referred us to a tour operator for local tours in Santiago. She also found us a very nice hotel with all the amenities of a pool, restaurant, and bar. The hotel was right between Santiago’s domestic and international airports which made it a convenient location for connecting with our local tours and departing on our flight home. It was a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the airport. It was safe and quiet (we did not hear planes landing and taking off from our room.) Deb also checked with us during the trip and when we returned to make sure everything was going well. Thank you for helping us with this trip of a lifetime. We will be calling you for our next dream trip.

Deb found my sister and I the perfect vacation at a great price! We took a cruise from Venice and visited two Greek islands. At first she was unable to get us rooms close together, but texted a week later and found us rooms next to each other! Great customer service!
