Early into the wedding planning process, my wife and I decided forgo a traditional ceremony and create an intimate celebration that embodied our personalities and values. We quickly agreed on a destination wedding, small guest list, and relaxed ambiance. As we began searching for an officiant, it became evident that few fit the concept that we held for our wedding. We wanted someone that could work with us to create a truly personal and memorable ceremony, however, we found that most officiants charge outrageous fees to insert your name into a generic template.
