This trip is great for all ages, vegans are such an empathetic group, everyone stayed together and had a great time. The trip is planned in such a thoughtfully sustainable way too, I didn’t feel like a tourist while I was in Guatemala. Anna has the hook up with the locals and they are all SO KIND and love the planet, it was great getting to know them as well. To me there was the perfect amount of action and downtime, I was tired at the end of the day but had enough time to sleep and relax. The food was INCREDIBLE to put it lightly, and the tours and experiences were so unique. I especially loved spinning my own thread and learning about Mayan natural medicines. There is a lot of history on this tour and the guides are great. Our trip was lucky enough to have Sabrina included, an amazing photographer. I hope she’s along for future trips, the pics she showed me unedited were beautiful. It REALLY took the pressure off me to try to capture the beauty I was constantly surrounded by. I was able to be so present because I knew she’d get the perfect shot. I couldn’t say enough good things about this trip, being able to explore Guatemala while eating local vegan food was amazing. I will most definitely be on a future trip! 🌟

The Guatemala vegan group trip with Anna was absolutely unbelievable. It offered an incredible variety of activities, locations, and authentic experiences at an excellent cost. I had the BEST time traveling around Guatemala with Anna. We had such delicious vegan food and supported/visited so many local businesses. From visiting a textile co-op to hiking a volcano to our boat-access-only hotel, everything was a blast and there is no way I could have put this trip together on my own. Anna also collaborates with some great guides who clearly love showing visitors their home and I will be recommending traveling with Anna to everyone I know. Can’t wait til the next one!

I did a vegan food tour of Guatemala with ABA and had SO MUCH fun! Anna is incredibly friendly and helpful and the local businesses she worked with were all so lovely. The food was delicious and the tour planning was perfect. There was lots of adventure and learning packed into the trip but also enough downtime to rest and bond with the other travelers. I was never anxious or worried - Anna & crew made everyone so comfortable! Highly recommend these tours and I hope to do another one with ABA someday.

Incredible tour experience, very smooth and well planned itinerary. Our 7 days were packed with activities from visiting Maya communities and ruins to walking food tours in Guatemala City and Antigua, and a full coffee tour with a local farmer. Anna was there with us every step of the way and looked out for everybody’s well being and comfort throughout the trip. Can’t recommend AnnaThing but Animals enough!

I went on Anna’s Guatemala trip for my birthday and it was the best decision I made all year! I cannot recommend enough. The experiences were special and authentic, and it was so well planned. The hotels and accommodations were also SO much nicer than I anticipated and at a reasonable cost.

Just did the Vegan tour of Guatemala. She kept the group busy, but also gave us enough free time to get to explore things in the mornings and evenings.

We enjoyed lake Atitlan, learned about the Maya culture, hiked a volcano, experienced the whole process coffee goes through, farm to table, at a lot of good food and much more.

Thank you Anna and team for bringing us all together and giving me memories I won’t soon forget.

i didn't follow @annathingbutanimals when i decided to go on her vegan food tour through guatemala. i was strolling through ig and the algo happened to show me her content that mentioned the trip. it seemed like a fun trip to go on for a fair price, so i spontaneously pulled the trigger that same day. as i told friends how i was going to guatemala for a trip hosted by an influencer i didn't even follow, i got some suspect responses. i always had faith it would be a good trip, but i did start to have some doubts about how well i would mesh would the group at large. there was no reason for concern. the community that anna has built virtually and now in person is top notch. we had an eclectic group with multiple countries and peoples age range 20 - 50 years old. which may sound like too much of a spread but everyone got along great and many friendships were made that will outlive this trip. let alone great vegan food, 4-5 star accommodations and the ability to just show up and not think about logistics. i hope to do another one some day!
