Recently shot a wedding at Anthony's. Everything was fantastic. Banquet Director Thomas Nuterangelo was beyond incredible. He checked in with me numerous times to make sure all was going well with the wedding day timeline and events. The cocktail hour at Anthony's is one of the best out there. The selection and quality of food is one of the best. Dinner was great and the reception hall was set up beautifully . Palm trees on the beach for the wedding ceremony makes for always such memorable and beautiful photos. Everyone had the time of their lives. I highly recommend Anthony's Ocean View as one of the best beach wedding venues in Connecticut.

Wedding photographer recommended! Anthony's Ocean View is definitely one of the more popular wedding venues in Greater New Haven and for good reason. I photographed a wedding there this summer and my couple and their guests loved it. If you're into beach idea, definitely consider it! But what's more is the service is very good, so you can rest assured that you're in good hands for your wedding day.

Had my son's stag party yesterday. I have never seen this place but from the moment I entered, I knew this was a very elegant place. There are multiple gardens each hosting an event and indoor rooms as well. The food was like eating at a wedding, filet mignon, pasta florentine, pizza, desserts and very nicely appointed tables. Also, there is waiter service when you are done eating no need to leave your messy plate. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place for a reunion, bachelorette, stag or wedding.

We had our wedding at Anthony’s in August 2023 and it was such a great experience. Everyone was super helpful and the venue was beautiful. We still hear from our friends and family that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and the food was unbelievable as well. Not only was the food incredible but there was so much of it. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. In my opinion this is the best value you can find anywhere in New England as far as a beach wedding venue goes!

I dont know where to start, our whole wedding experience at Anthony's was excellent. When we first pulled into the parking lot to view the venue to decide if this was the place we were going to get married, I knew we would be saying I do on the beach. Everyone who attended our wedding told us how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food tasted. The staff was great and so attentive. Franco was amazing! He was very helpful, anything we needed he would get. My wife and I couldn't be more happy of how our wedding turned out! Thank you Anthony's Ocean View for making our wedding a truly special day!

This is an amazing venue. I have done several weddings and events here, and the photos always come out amazing. Here is a hint: if you book this venue, try to get it during the later hours to catch the sunset. It makes for great photos.

I honestly and truly cannot find the words to express how unbelievably perfect my wedding day was, and how amazing AOV was! From the start, the staff was extremely helpful, I worked mostly with Cheryl who I cannot say enough positive things about! She eased my anxiety during our meetings, worked with me and my fiance and was extremely accommodating!

Originally, we were supposed to be the only event occurring the day of my wedding however they ended up having an event booked the morning of, which skewed our planning results. Cheryl stayed HOURS past when she was supposed to leave in order to help our families set up and make sure everything was perfect! Not only did she stay late to help, she stayed to watch our ceremony and congratulated us afterwards! You can just feel the loving energy she holds!

Brian was our Maitre D’i and he was extremely accommodating and very kind as well!

Our waiters, specifically Mark, were outstanding! They insured that my husband and I were able to eat, brought us food and drinks while we were up and about and were attentive of all of our needs!

Our day could not have been more perfect. Of course the scenery at AOV is breathtaking, but the staff are mainly responsible for making sure our day was perfect and better than we ever could have dreamed of!

2nd year attending their Valentines dinner event because I was super impressed in 2024. This year totally disappointed there was no decoration just one small balloon arch in an akward area. There was no photo booth no Martini bar like they had last year. The menu said choice of filet mignon or salmon. They served surf and turf to a person with seafood allergies. No dessert station or coffee-they brought a plate to each table with an assortment. The Bar was crowded but the drinks were good despite the wait. Sadly we wont be going back not worth the amount spent we would have just gone to a regular restaurant for a "meal". However the entertainment was great! Love Timmy Maia.
