Ed and Elena are spectacular guides whose passion for chasing the aurora and capturing beautiful photos made our trip unforgettable.
They drove us far enough from Fairbanks to an open clearing to have optimal viewing with no light pollution. They encouraged us to take as many professional photos as we wanted and were just as excited as us to see the photos with the incredible lights. They offered many different snacks and had a warm van with large windows to keep us comfortable. The lights were magical, but even if they weren't out we would have still enjoyed it because Ed and Elena had such fun personalities and were great guides! And as a nice surprise we were each given some cake as we were dropped off! You will not regret this tour, BOOK IT!!

An Unforgettable Aurora Experience!

Our tour with Arctic Night Tours was absolutely incredible! We spent the whole night chasing the Northern Lights, and it truly felt magical. Elena and Edmond were the warmest, sweetest guides — full of energy, patience, and enthusiasm. They made sure everyone was comfortable, helped us with poses, and took an amazing number of beautiful photos that we’ll cherish forever.

We loved every moment — from the cozy breaks with snacks to the delicious cake they surprised us with at the end of the night. Their passion and kindness made this experience even more special.

This was truly an unforgettable experience! We had spent several nights chasing the aurora from Anchorage to Fairbanks, but hadn’t been able to catch a spectacular display — until we joined the Arctic Circle day tour.

A huge thank you to Elena for taking such great care of us! The tour was fun, well-organized, and we finally saw the Northern Lights we had been dreaming of. Elena also helped us capture many beautiful photos, which we will cherish forever.

This was one of the most amazing trips I've ever been on. Ed and Elena knew exactly where to take us for a perfect view of the northern lights. We had a slow start on the lights, but the guides helped us remain patient and trust them. Sure enough the sky started to really shine just a little later, and they helped capture the perfect moment for me to propose to my fiancé. I cannot recommend enough to trust Ed and Elena and take their tour.

After four nights of trying to see the Aurora on our own, be decided to hire a guide. It was a great decision. Ed and Elena took the group to a viewing spot we could not have found on our own. There we were treated to the most amazing display. There were greens, reds, yellows, oranges, and even some fast moving blue/violet colors. It got so bright, that you could see the land for miles around. It was simply a breathtaking and empathic completion of a bucket list item I’ve had going back to my youth.

Ed and Elana not only provided the spot, they brought contagious energy and enthusiasm plus water, snacks, and hand and toe warmers. These extra touches were allowed the group to stand out in the cold for hours watching virtually non-stop aurora views.

We can while heartedly recommend their aurora tour. Thanks Ed and Elena.

Sorry for the review being late for few weeks but, here it is…
First I must say we were so blessed to have a chance to join their tour because it was really a last minute thing and we were so glad that we did this Aurora chasing tour!! Indeed it was an unforgettable night for us for viewing such amazing aurora in a remote area, in two comfy luxurious vans, even high end snacks and hand warmers were prepared for you!! (Among all the tours we joined in Fairbanks, they’re the best.)
Elena and her hubby would accommodate you in every aspects they could, to keep you warm in the car when you need to stay in and out from time to time, as well as to provide you with professional photography and even taking the time lapse video for you the night you were actually there!!
Words cannot express enough how much we appreciate their hospitality and we would recommend them with no reservations.
