Excellent stop if you are looking for an Arkansas state parks stamp, take a short rest, explore a really cool spring! This visitors center was super clean, the bathrooms were excellent, and the staff was so kind. There are TONS of brochures about each area of Arkansas and some gift shop things for sale (stickers, magnets, toys, coffee mugs, postcards, candy, drinks, etc.). Loved stopping here, it is easy to get in and out of and you can spend as much time as you need.

Lovely place to stop & stretch your legs the waterfall is beautiful & the numerous types of fresh water grasses growing before the waterfall are so neat to see. Definetly wait to stop there to stretch your legs on road trips. Very clean facility.

Loved the nature scenes! The train station was really cool but it was closed both times we drove through (coming and going on vacation). The walking trails and view decks had beautiful views and photo opportunities. The kids loved the playground. Fish hatchery was empty, so we couldn't do to the gift shop. But had a few wildlife in it. The bridge was pretty and the generator room was interesting to read about! The welcome center was in the middle of renovations so no bathrooms but the gift shop was open and we got a magnet for our trip wall. Friendly people!!!

I made a quick stop when i saw a small nice looking lake and a dam from US highway 63. It was interesting to find out about biggest spring in Arkansas which outlet creates this small beautiful Spring Lake. Last century they built a dam and a power plant later on it. Now it is a small interesting historical place. Also it was good to know about Reunion of the Blue and Gray that first time took place in Mammoth Springs and The Big Gun that was a participant of this event every year.

This is a great place to stretch your legs. Super friendly people. A nice lake to walk around, a waterfall with an old mill next to it. An old train station on the back side. A fishery next to it. Super clean bathrooms.
