I was super satisfied with my choice of As You Like It Catering to provide a luncheon in my mother’s memory. I knew it would be a hot summer’s day so I opted for a casual luncheon. They provided tablecloths and set a beautiful buffet table. The food was excellent . Everyone remarked that the food was delicious and the day memorable. Shelley facilitated the event with 3 very capable and pleasant staff. They utilized the space perfectly.

The team was kind and courteous throughout the planning of and during our memorial service. Rachel even gave our family a mini tour on the tram of our event space. The food was delicious and we appreciated all the gentle kindnesses we received from all the staff from start to finish. Thank you!

Noemi and her team provided catering and decor services for my wedding. They were extremely professional, kind, and courteous thoroughout the whole process. Noemi was willing to happily help us with any changes we want to make and even jumped in to help us out when our coordinator didn't not show up. AYLI is an excellent choice for any event and I would recommend them to anyone considering using their services

As You Like It Events and Catering helped me pull off an amazing event for my wife's retirement party at the beautiful California Botanic Garden. The food was amazing and the As You Like It Events and Catering Team was flawless. The event could not have been any better, I highly recommend them and the California Botanic Garden to anyone that wants to have a great event.

As You Like It made planning our wedding a very easy and relatively stress free process! Communication with Rachel and Phyllis was great! Day of everything was so beautiful and our guests absolutely loved the food. We can’t thank the team enough for being so accommodating and for helping make our big day so memorable! 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in having a great event with delicious food 🙂

This review is long overdue - AYLI catered and handled all the venue details for my October 2022 wedding at the California Botanic Gardens in Claremont. The gardens have a few chosen vendors you can work with, and we knew AYLI was the one right off the bat. Rachel and Phyllis were amazing, very friendly, and super communicative (and I know I emailed a LOT). We loved how many vegetarian options they had, as we had an entirely meat-free wedding. We especially loved how much effort went into our tasting before the wedding - they really went the extra mile for us! They had great vendor recommendations, too.

The wedding was beautiful and ran like a dream thanks to Rachel and her team. We got so many compliments on the food - and I made sure my husband and I got to enjoy it too!

I will definitely keep AYLI on rotation for future catering events, and if you’re getting married at the gardens and wondering who to work with, definitely go with AYLI!!

I had a surprise birthday for my husband and hired As You Like It Events & Catering for the special day. Naomi and her co-worker (I'm sorry I don't remember her name but none the less she was very good at her role as well); they both did a wonderful job. The food was delicious and my guests really enjoyed the appetizers and the dinner (chicken poblano, parmesan masked potatoes, and vegetables) . It was such a relief to have Naomi setting up, making sure my guests were enjoying the appetizers and meal. She even helped with serving the cake and ice cream. They both did a professional job with the set up as well as the clean up.

I would highly recommend As You Like It catering for your next event. It was so worth it and my husband was very surprised and enjoyed the food as well.

AYLI were a dream to work with for my wedding. Everyone was professional and communicated well. The food we had was amazing (shout to Chef Phyllis and her team). Noemi our coordinator was calm and kind and was a joy to work with. Everything went incredibly smoothly given the short timeline and we are so glad that we went with AYLI. Our wedding was beautiful, elegant, and so much fun. We highly recommend them!
