If you’re looking for a truly unique to the area experience, backwater tours is the BEST! We’re local and this is our FAVORITE adventure to take visiting friends and family on!

Capt Andy knows a ton about the ecology and history of the Choctawhatchee bay and surrounding area. We always learn something new and interesting. He has all the fun gear (paddle board, kayak, floating mat, etc) to keep the kids (and the adults) entertained for hours.

Added bonus . . . EPIC pictures and happy, exhausted kiddos at the end of the day.

If you’re in this neck of the woods and looking for an activity that’s truly unique, you need to give Capt Andy a call!

Our experience with Captain Andy exceeded our high expectations. I'd heard great things about the tour and he didn't disappoint. He's lived in the area for many more years than most and his knowledge of local history and of the ecosystem shows. We went on an adventure of a lifetime today! Swam in a fresh water natural spring hidden in the Florida Choctawhatchee river waters. Saw gators, flying sturgeon, fish, turtles, 1,000 year old cypress trees and lots of beautiful birds all from the guidance of Captain Andy! Absolutely incredible we didn’t even know we lived near these natural wonders. Thank you for the best day and best Adventure!!

I can’t say enough good things about the three hour tour we did with Captain Andy. At the end of our week long vacation it is was the favorite activity of everyone with the highlight of the tour being the swamp. We even brought our infant daughter with us and felt safe the whole time. Captain Andy was so knowledgeable on the area and the wildlife and had great stories to share. Captain Andy is awesome!!! We learned a lot about the local water ways and Captain Andy took us to the most beautiful natural springs! In my opinion they are better than the beaches here! We took our family out on a tour, and our 2 year old daughter loved it. The other family who joined us had older kids had a great time too. Highly recommend this boat tour!

My family and I had such a lovely time on our tour with Andy. He is extremely knowledgeable about this unique ecosystem and the history of the area, we learned so much and it was a joy!!! The wildlife viewing was amazing and we saw so many beautiful birds!

My wife and I recently moved from TX to 30A and enjoy the beach but wanted to learn more about the area - we highly recommend this tour of the area. We booked a trip since our son was in town and we all enjoyed it very much. Seeing the bay and the back water area's we had no idea it was so beautiful.
