A true historical gem, definitely old New York vibes. Had a wonderful experience here for Valentine’s Day/Anniversary dinner. The space itself is very impressive. We had dinner and drinks and really enjoyed a special time. The service was attentive and food was top notch. The best were the short rib ravioli and the smoked wagyu brisket, highly recommended. A high end New York experience, definitely worth it.

The ambiance is unmatched, beautiful decor under the historic atrium. The breakfast was delicious. They have a jazz brunch on Saturday and Sunday with a live band. I highly recommend this spot for any occasion. I also went to the bar at night and it was very busy.

What a location for a bar! The historic Beekman hotel with its amazing atrium.

But what about the bar?
Service was slow.
Used glasses, dirty plates and signed receipts left cluttered on the bar.
Drinks were good however.

So what’s the problem? Short staffed. One bar tender was working covering the whole bar and dining area. Not a chance they can run such a beautiful bar in the way it deserves.

Was disappointed the Christmas tree and decorations were already taken down in preparation for the New Year’s Eve party. Would have looked even better with them in place.

It has potential, and might be perfect outside of the time I visited.

I stayed here over Turkey Day and had breakfast/dinner throughout the weekend and service was always top notch. Food is very elevated with great combinations. Super fresh ingredients, flavourful and well seasoned! Would definitely recommend staying and trying their dishes and drinks.

Lovely and busy hotel bar. We initially had dinner reservations here but had to cancel but enjoyed the bar area. Many trying to reserve a spot but had a long wait. Eager to come back during a non holiday time of year for dinner.
