What a unique and cool find! We were searching for dog friendly hangouts and I’m so happy we found Barkin Barley! Not only does this place have a wonderful selection of CT beers and ciders as well as Prosecco and wine, but it has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that is not only dog friendly but dog obsessed! Husband had a flight and enjoyed every one and I enjoyed a delicious local cider! We ordered food in and it was the perfect Sunday afternoon! We will definitely be back!

The food trucks where delicious and a welcomed addition to an all around good time. Would definitely recommend taking time to check this new place out!

Opening weekend was great! They did an amazing job with the design of the indoor and outdoor spaces. The seating is comfortable and diverse. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We got a flight and all the beers were great.

Make sure to sign up for updates and the mug club. The food looked good, it was BBQ. They didn’t have any chicken or non-red meat options.

Give this place a try, even if you don’t drink beer, you can bring your dogs.

This is one of my favorite “third places”. With a unique concept, the owners created a fun atmosphere here and back it up with deep local brew knowledge. They keep the menu fresh so there’s always something new to try, and weekly events keep me coming back! This place also supports local- local breweries and local food service. If there isn’t a food truck that day (there often are on weekends) menus are available for local restaurants that deliver. It’s kid friendly and dog friendly, but you don’t have to bring your dog to have a good time here!

Amazing selection on tap. Love seeing the dogs, and it seems like the local dogs like being able to hang out too. They even got a favorite local restaurant, that doesn't normally deliver, to deliver to their establishment. They ought to sell some fire roasting snack packs (with that good good profit margin) for the fire pit now that the sun will be setting earlier. The owners are the nicest folks, and this taproom is more like a community than a business.

We love this place! The beer selection is amazing and they have a lot planned to keep improving. Everyone was super friendly and the dogs love it too. Bailey even tried the "dog beer" and he couldn't stop licking the bowl even after it was all gone. Can't wait to spend more time here!

Super relaxed atmosphere, doggie friendly, fantastic beers, friendly staff. All in all a great place to chill. Bring your own food. Drinks are a tad on the pricey side though.
