Paula and her team made the whole process from the dreaming, to the planning, to the execution, to the day-of wedding day absolutely seamless! Her team is incredible!

Paula has been in the wedding industry for a very long time and due to this, she was able to give us incredible referrals to various vendors, which also made it so simple for us.

Along with that, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, even during the winter time, which is when we got married.

I would highly recommend Paula and Barnes Place for any occasion!

Went to a wedding there 9/21/24. Beautiful place. Decorations on point! But it was weird when it came to the workers. They were dressed just in jeans and t-shirts…..which I guess is fine for a country setting but maybe at least matching shirts would have been a little better. The bartender seemed very stressed and didn’t really smile at all. Like she was completely over weddings and didn’t want to be there. LOL! I get it but you still need to have a smile once in a while. Or at least mask that you don’t want to be there. Overall it’s still a beautiful setting and the setup was perfect.

I'm a wedding photographer in the DSM area, and I recently photographed a wedding at Barnes' Place - it was gorgeous! So much space and variety on the property, and wonderful lighting opportunities. Paula and the staff were wonderful as well. Can't say enough good things about it! Don't miss the old growth pine forest for photos - just stunning.

What a wonderful place to have a wedding! I was just a guest, but the farm had a perfect space to have an outdoor ceremony, a repurposed barn that sat all 150ish guests, and was decorated beautifully with personal touches for the bride and groom.
