When we asked about another rate, she said she didn’t see it. We had to pay $110. Rate on website was $80. Cockroach in bathroom crawling around. No hot tub even though we were told there was one. Paid with a credit card online and they requested the card again for damages, even though it was on file. No elevator. Don’t recommend.

Calling your guests liars is ridiculous. You told customer service that we stayed there. That we didn’t check out. I wasn’t even staying there. I helped bring bags in and talk to my friend that lives in another state. She checked out and checked into another hotel. You are the ones that lied. You had a lady check the bathroom after we stated it went under the ledge on the floor near the wall. Did you want someone to catch it with their hands as you don’t wear shoes in the bathroom? The girl staying asked for another room and you told her to cancel her room and leave. The rooms were disgusting anyways and there was boogers on the wall. Maybe call customer service back and tell them that she checked out only a couple hours after check in to go to another hotel. 🙂
Also, the price through the third party was only $80. When you told her to cancel the Agoda website said cancel through the hotel and you said “I cancel it I cancel it”. Then you proceeded to not cancel it after they left. You stated that she had guests, but all I did was help her carry bags in. Pull up the footage of you saying you would cancel the room and then not canceling it.

We live in LeMars but this was our first time staying here. They let us look at the room beforehand as we reserved the king suite before the date. I held a bday party for my 12 year old who wanted to swim. There was enough room for all 10 girls to run around play games, listen to music and have fun. It was nice to have the balcony as well to keep an eye on things when I was in the room. We brought our own food and cake in and there is a little kitchen area. The fridge is lacking as is very tiny and freezes the stuf in it but at least there was a kitchen area. The jacuzzi was fun for the 4 girls that stayed the night to relax and wind down. No hot tub but the pool was nice and warm. The staff we courteous and helpful even letting us in before check in since the room was available so we could decorate. Over all a great experience and my girl was happy that's all that mattered! Thanks for allowing us to make good memories!!

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I booked this hotel on the 1st of January. Check out was the 2nd. Once I got there after an hour I had to use the restroom. As I was taking a wee I seen a cockroach 🪳 come out and then go back into its hiding area after screaming. I told the front desk. She then came in and started shaking a towel saying “no cockroach” I said “it doesn’t stay in one place, am I supposed to tell it to freeze put your hands up?” She said again “no cockroach.” I said I ether want to be moved to a different room or to cancel. She told me to cancel. No offer of another room or nothing because she couldn’t see the cockroach. If anyone knows of how to keep a cock roach in one place please comment and I will try it next time. Anyhow - we go to the front desk after packing everything up and she said “I cancel it” assuming that meant she cancelled the room and gave me a refund, we left and I went to a different hotel. I booked through Agoda so I have proof that I booked a different hotel and didn’t stay there. I called Wyndham customer service and they called her and she told them that she cancelled it and to wait for my refund for 3-4 business days. I wait and still have not received my refund so I then call Agoda customer service to see what they can do about this and why I haven’t received it yet. They called the hotel and it is the same women that said “no cockroach. She continues to say she needs photos for proof. Again how do I keep a cockroach still? She also said we never left and that I had 5 guests stay yet my friend was just visiting since I was in town. She tells them that she will not refund my money. 4 ish days later I call both places again and they both contact her and she changes her story to that we now did leave but we had 5 guests and she won’t refund it. I called her personally and was hung up on three times. At the end of one conversation her husband said they would refund and to have Agoda call them again. After Agoda got off the phone they said I lied again. At this point Agoda knows that she is lying because she changed her story twice. They tell me they are sorry and can not do anything since the hotel owners won’t cancel. She keeps insisting that I am a liar and she will not refund my money. I have NEVER been called a liar by a hotel if I have ever had issues. They move you to a different room or refund you. She wouldn’t even allow me to move to a different room because she needed proof there was a cockroach. 🪳 she literally said cancel it and leave.

From now on if I stay at a hotel I will carry my phone on me in camera mode at ALL times recording in case this were to happen again. Oh and also I’ll be sure to bring a fake mini gun so I can tell the cockroach to “freeze put your hands up” and it will listen to me since I told it to stay still. Or actually you know what? Maybe I will start a cockroach dancing lineup by sing the song “El Cucaracha“ and they will all follow me down the hotel hallway because I told them to.

This place is a joke. They are rude, don’t speak English, and lie. I will never book through this hotel again and I highly don’t recommend it. Is it a place to stay? Yes. But to me it’s not worth the headache. Some reviews say that they have bedbugs too. I’m sure they will want proof if you ever stay here and want to cancel so be on recording mode at all times.

P.S - there is now a case open through Wyndham and I will eventually get my money back.

Very old and outdated 80s/90 looks and warn carpet/furniture. Had issues with getting the HVAC set and actually turn on when it needed to. the shower drain didn't work well in the creaky fiberglass tub. The shower head is odd.

Went to pool and only 60 degrees in pool room but atleat 80 degrees in the water if not 85 degrees. But when you exit at 60 degrees your going to freeze and had to ask just for lighting to come on. Oh and side door that requires a key card that doesn't work,manager told me all you have to do is pull really hard and door opens without key card and door lock is about to fall out of door. And exercise room you can't even get TV to turn om. Either. And much more.

If I could give a negative one star on service I would. The manager is very rude, cussed in front of my 2 year old. We called ahead for pack n plays and they gave them away. They gave us 1 roll away bed for my 2 month old and 2 year old. Nothing was set up, we were told that is “extra”.

Although the woman at check-in was friendly, she was the only staff we really interacted with much.
The television in the room did not work, whenever you turn it on there's just a little bouncing cube that says LG and just keeps going around the screen.
Wi-Fi was not fast (6 Mbps download, 18 Mbps upload).
There was a coffee maker and a little fridge and microwave in the room and we did sleep all right.
Breakfast was included but was poor because it was not attended. There were two men sitting behind the desk, they were just talking to each other and not paying attention to the breakfast area. The are were some omelets pre-made in a Crock-Pot (staying warm but they were totally dried out) and there was another crock pot that should have held sausage but it was completely empty except for some crumbles. There was very little bread, some yogurt, some hot and cold cereal, and a waffle machine.
When I was checking out I asked if I could have a printed invoice / receipt. The man says that "we don't print invoices, they don't print here, but they'll email me one". (They didn't)

We just spent 5 nights in a pet room. We had no problems at all. The owners and family were very accommodating. Beds were comfortable, breakfast and coffee were delicious. We stay at this hotel at least once a year and have never had an issue. We travel with our dog so I know what some pet rooms can smell like (I always carry essential oils and cotton balls to set on the air/heater) these are not bad at all! We will continue to use this hotel when we come home for family events.
