Deborah was the front desk person and was SO helpful and friendly! She really made us feel at home. The hot tub water was beautifully clear and the temp was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed soaking in it. Deborah popped in and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. VERY nice room and pool area. And such friendly service! Will definitely plan to stay again!

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub area was very well kept and inviting. Debra was so helpful during the check-in process and very inviting, even turned on the hot tub jets for us before sharing stories about her experience in the hospitality industry while keeping a watchful eye on the front desk. She is one of the best hosts I've had at a hotel. I will definitely be back!

Positives were - the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Negatives - pool was ICE cold. Rooms are small and very tight quarters for multiple people. The "double beds" are SMALL. We were assuming they were queen beds when we booked, but realize now the room details do not state that. They are full sized beds, but small for even a full size. They are not very comfortable for 2 adults! Breakfast was disappointing as well. We will be selecting a different place to stay on our next trip to Pella.

What truly set Baymont Inn apart was the exceptional service provided by the manager, HP. HP was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as pleasant as possible. His attention to detail and genuine care made me feel right at home.

We enjoyed our stay and the rate was reasonable. Was very pleased with everything and I looked hard to find if anything negative was worth mentioning - the one and only thing I could find was the flower beds on the property were in need of weeding (not something high on my priority list). I enjoyed seeing the hard-working, dedicated couple who I'm guessing may have been owners or managers. It showed that they have much interest in taking care of their property and guests. Thank you for a great stay!

Upon pulling up to the hotel's giant parking lot we noticed a few things. The photos on their website and on various booking sites do not look the same. It was as if they pulled a Houdini on us or used some Hollywood magic. The exterior does not look as large as it does in person and also the hotel can use some paint. We walked in and I believe were greeted straight away by Andrew who was amazing and checked us in.

I glanced to the right and saw the pool. The pool is not as large as the photos show it as and well they used a nice wide angle to make it look gigantic but in person, it's not as majestic. The rooms were clean and livable but the beds were very strange. The mattress was warped in a way that elevated your feet like a hospital bed. Maybe it's by design to lower blood flow after the long days of exploration.

The breakfast was well mediocre and the coffee sucked but the location wise it's not a bad spot. It's very close to restaurants and shopping and within driving distance from downtown. I gave the hotel 3 stars just because the staff was amazing and the location but otherwise it would have been 1 star.
