Is there a Million Star review available? Because if so, I would love to give it! I cannot say enough about how wonderful BCP, Inc. is!!! Connor Wilkinson and Alex were absolutely amazing!!! They were both so professional and fun, and we received so many comments on how much fun they made our wedding! Our guests danced the entire night, and the only time they left the dance floor was to use the bathroom or grab a drink. That's how perfect they made our celebration!

Brock with BCP was our DJ for our wedding a couple weeks ago. I can’t express enough how amazing he did! From our consultation meeting with him, we knew he was the perfect fit! He was so energetic the entire time. Brock was easy to work with and very communicative. He understood exactly the energy and music I wanted for our wedding! Nic, what a party starter! We had the best time with family and friends at our wedding on 8.29.20 thanks to Nic. He got everyone dancing and having fun from the get-go! The music choices were fantastic, the lighting was so fun, and Nic of course gave amazing directive throughout the night. Such a professional DJ who brings the energy! This has to be the best DJ service ever! Nic kept the entire crowd entertained and on the dance floor more than I’ve seen at any other weddings, and all his planning beforehand made things go so smoothly. He was also ready to do things on the fly and adjust as the night went on if we wanted anything else to happen during our wedding reception. Makes me want to relive that night over and over! If you don’t choose BCP Wedding Services, you will definitely be missing out!!

We've been working with Nic to plan our wedding and he's been so professional and easy to work with the whole time. He's been helpful in suggesting venues and vendors to use, and he's quick to reply to emails. His system for getting all of the information from clients for the wedding day is easy to use and easy to fill out, making us extra confident that our wedding will be perfect. We ultimately had to postpone our wedding due to things outside of anyone's control, and Nic made it so easy. We couldn't be happier with his services, and we're excited for him to DJ at our wedding!

The first part of my review is the original 3 star review we gave. The second part of the review is a follow up call that they made to get us to change our review.

We chose BCP because of the great reviews and we didn't have a bad experience, but it wasn't as good as we hoped. When we were assigned a DJ, we were assigned a DJ that wasn't even on their website. He was hired through them, but was still an independent DJ, and that was kind of frustrating to us. Our DJ didn't really listen to us as to what we wanted for the dance. It wasn't bad, just not exactly what we wanted. He also played the wrong song during our wedding license signing, during the ceremony, and didn't have the song we requested there. Overall, the DJ experience didn't ruin how we remember our day, but we wanted to remember our DJ as an important part of our day, and we didn't get that.

I received a call, not from BCP weddings, but from our specific DJ explaining what happened. He told me why he had made a mistake with our song even though his explanation still would not have fixed the incorrect song. He also explained to me his connection to BCP Weddings, but this still doesn't resolve our issue with him not being on their website and us feeling blindsided. He also told us how he thought that the reception went well, yet failed to respond to us saying how he didn't listen to us for the music we wanted to play. The last thing that he said that really bothered us was that Jake, from BCP asked if Steve, our DJ could call us to explain this and ask us to change the review or delete it. This is not okay to us as it wasn't a way to reach out and see how they could be better, but rather a way to get us to change our review.

If you're stressed about finding the perfect wedding DJ in the Des Moines area, stop looking and just hire Nic and BCP. After just a few conversations, Nic delivered the absolute perfect wedding playlist and MC experience across the board. He even went out of his way to ask if my wife needed drinks or anything else throughout the reception. He also spotted her hair clip fall out during our entrance from across the room, tracked it down and brought it to her himself. He clearly communicated instructions to us and our bridal party for entrances and the event's timeline. Every guest has been raving about the music ever since our wedding. It's not worth your time looking for other DJs- just go with Nic.
