My husband and I have enjoyed coming to the Beach House several times over the years on special occasions. And what's not to enjoy? A clean and lovely room, fireplace, lovely assortment of pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice for breakfast, ocean view, private gate to the beach, paved path for walking or biking, a hot tub, and heated pool. The staff are all pleasant, professional, and helpful. Most recently, we celebrated our 34th anniversary by spending a couple of days at Beach House. In my opinion, this is not a room if you're just needing a place to sleep and then continue travel the next day. This is a place where you want to enjoy breakfast on the patio, looking out the window, or sitting by the fireplace - and then take a nice long walk to the marina or walk the Pacific Coast Trail, and then head to a nearby beach or check out Main Street downtown. Half Moon Bay is a beautiful location, and the Beach House makes your stay nice and comfortable.

We had a wonderful 3 day get away at The Beach House. We enjoyed the complementary wine hour and met some new friends. The rooms are very quiet, roomy, clean and comfortable with many amenities. A refrigerator, microwave, and even a kettle on the stove for a cup of tea. A cozy fireplace and a beautiful view. What more could we ask for. Loved it.

My birthday get away was just great here. First time staying here and it was so relaxing. We were delighted upon entering our room with such a nice layout and full 180 views of the beach inlet. Bed was super comfy and room was very clean. Nice amenities and small kitchen was so convenient dishes and all. Breakfast was just super lots of fresh fruit too. Staff was super nice and helpful. we will be coming back!💛

This was our second stay. We enjpyed the first time immensely. Beach House is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting, right anove the protected beach at Pillar Point. From our suite on the third floor we could watch the kit boarders flying across the water. Our accommodations were clean and well maintained. The staff are great. After I hot hone I realized that I had left some itms behind in the room . I called the front desk and they shipped them to my home right away so I got them the next day. Can't wait to return for another stay!

Loved the ocean front suite. great staff service. access to coastal trail was amazing. Had trouble opening and closing the sofa bed but the young lady at the front desk helped out gracefully. there was some noise outside the hotel caused by repair work. not a big deal. Check in time of 4 pm is unusually late compared to other hotels.

If you are looking for a place to relax that is right on the beach and within walking distance to nice restaurants, this is your place! The rooms have fireplaces, which is a treat, and the breakfast is a delightful assortment of local baked goods that were delicious. If you're lucky, you just might see a bunny or two near your patio or below your balcony. Definitely want to return!

Loved the stunning view from our 3rd story balcony and the easy access to the coastal trail and beach below us. Our room was well appointed and clean. Enjoyed the convenience and selection of the complimentary continental breakfast each morning. There were also some great restaurants near by. The cozy fireplace in our sitting area was a very nice touch.

The hotel is cute, rooms are great. Cleaning staff and catering staff also great. Sales folks on the other hand… we rented 8 rooms to stay for one week. We asked to rent a meeting room to use for 8 hours total, spread through 3 days. They said you had to pay for the full day, which we did. However, in two of those days they kicked us out in the afternoon even though we paid for the full day. We did say initially we only needed for the morning but given that they made us pay for the full day, I was not expecting to be kicked out in the middle of the day regardless of what was initially said. Honestly, dealing with sales was such a bad experience we decided we didn’t have any further energy to argue. They also said we had to book their catering during the meetings because otherwise would “make them look bad for not serving anything”… what So if you are coming for fun… sure. If you are coming for meetings… would highly not recommend. There are def better options.
