I had this hairdresser almost 30 years ago. It was so amazing how we reunited, I was looking for a hairdresser in my town that will fit what I wanted done to my hair. I had no idea it was her when I set up my appointment. When I saw her I knew I was in good hands, she did not loose her touch. I’m so happy with my style and cut.

I received a full service with the most beautiful silk press I have ever seen. Dana gave me treatment that was made by herself and catered to the needs of my scalp and hair. Her extensive knowledge of what products work together gave me the healthiest hair I have had in my life. She is experienced, diligent, fast and caring, trust me when I say she will leave you satisfied when you walk out the door.

Ms. Dana did an amazing job with my hair!!

Most hair stylists take one look at my hair and all you see on their faces is the horror setting in that they are in for hours of hard work. Ms. Dana handled my dense curly natural hair with ease ( though she is heavy handed and my scalp has some tender spots). My scalp and hair felt AMAZING after the treatment.

Only reason I gave 4 stars is...I am sorry but having to detangle my own hair during the appointment was not the best experience. And while I had a great time getting to know you--stopping and talking ended up stretching my appointment from 1pm to 7pm on a Saturday. Thankfully, I had no plans after, but that's a LONG time to sit for a silk out. Most places I'm out of the salon in half that time, so I was a little disappointed.

All in all, I would still recommend Ms. Dana's establishment for natural hair. She is hilarious and accommodating. I will definitely be back again. Just had to be honest about my experience 🙏🏽

Mrs Dana is absolutely the best. I moved to CT in 2017 and I found her in 2018 because i was looking for someone who knew to deal with curly hair and ever since she’s been my go-to hairstylist. She has so much knowledge about hair and products; also great conversations. 10/10 would recommend.

I was struggling with my hair for a while and needed help. I finally found Beauty By Dezign and Ms. Dana is my FAVORITE!! My hair looks and feels so good. She gave me a cute, even haircut which I needed badly and always styles me up well. Her scalp/steam treatments work for me and I can’t wait to grow my hair back out with her help.

I've been going to Dana for over 7 years and what ever is requested she can do while keeping my hair very healthy and promoting growth. I got a sew in by Dana and had no complications like I've had before with other stylist. And when all was said done my hair was still extremely moisturized after 2 1/2 months and had grown from the hair treatments. I recommend for natural girls.
