A few weeks ago I hired this tour company to take myself and 10 other ladies on a tour around the city. We had a blast! This is by far the BEST TOUR in NY. Sheldon was personable, knowledgeable and patient with all of us as we explored the sites. If you are looking for a wonderful tour of NY this is it!

Went on the Cupcake Walking Tour with my daughter. We really enjoyed it -- my daughter loved being able to create her own cupcake while I loved that all we had to do was show up because everything was taken care of already for us. 🙂 Definitely ñlanning to try their other tours too next time. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best city tour I have attended in any city. Sheldon was a great host and even better narrator of the city's rich lush history. I left knowing a lot more than I thought I did prior to the tour. I have had the privilege to travel extensively for work and have visited many many cities. This tour company is the only one I have ever rated a 5 and frankly, I would have gone higher. It was so extensive yet so chill that I will tour with them again when I return. Thank you for the history lessons and great day.

For a company that is based in the service sector, Best Tours fails in delivering upon customer service. Long story short, signed up for a Buckingham Palace Tour (London) through the UK affiliate, booked via Expedia. I went to the meet-up point as indicated in Expedia, but never found the tour guide, and now Best Tours won’t refund me. Upon arrival at the meet up point, did not see the tour guide (no sign, etc.) – when I called in to the Best Tours office, they called the guide as well as gave me his number to call – and no answer. Turns out the guide had messaged me (to his credit) but via Whatsapp, a non-standard third party app that requires data usage (to which I did not receive said messages until I was back at the hotel and on wifi, since I was abroad). The guide’s reason for that method of communication was that ‘Whatsapp is very popular here.’ Despite calls, texts, and emails with the main office for Best Tours, they have not refunded my ticket despite their poor organization and poor communication, and refuse to own responsibility for the poor judgement and mishap caused by their guide. Sadly, now as I prepare these remarks, I’m finding tons of other similar reviews and experiences. Such a disappointment.

Bad tours. I booked a superhero walking tour 23 july 2022 in New York. After waiting 20 minutts no guide showed up. 45 minutts after the trip was supposed to start, Best Tours send me an email and cancelled the trip. After that I wanted a refund. Best tours have promised me that since July 2022, but now almoust 6 months after they still have not payd me back. Many of the email I send, they dont answer. The only answer I got was that they was doing a follow up on my request. Customer service is not good and they dosen't seem like a serious company. Stay away.

Lee was an awesome tour guide through Little Italy. It was fun, educational and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it if you are interested in learning more about NYC.
