We stayed at the Best Western Plus Country Park for 1 night on our way from Yosemite National Park to The Grand Canyon. The front desk attendant was friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Grounds and common areas were clean. Typical free hotel breakfast buffet. However, food items were still being set up at 7:30, well after the beginning of service. |ADA|My husband is a full-time wheelchair user. He is able to take care of his personal needs when in an environment that is wheelchair accessible. We have been traveling together for over 40 years. My comments on accessibility are for information only in hopes that it may be of help to others. The hand-held shower did not have a vertical adjustment which made it impossible to reach from a seated position. The shower head was mounted on the wall opposite the shower bench making it impossible to reach from a seated position. Towels were on a shelf mounted to the wall above the shower bench. Towels could not be reached from a seated position.

The Country Park Hotel has a very nice location. It is a short distance to an outstanding bakery/deli shop. Also close to a great steakhouse.||We had a very spacious and comfortable room with king bed, sofa, and chair. The computer desk was a real plus.||We used the outdoor pool which was of a comfortable temperature and was close to the jacuzzi.||The lobby and hallways were clean and neat.||There really were no negatives to our stay at the motel.|Even though we were near the back door and the stairs we were not disturbed by any noise of folks in or out of the building.||Sincerely,|Del Chausse, Paso Robles

This is our go-to-stop when on our way to see family in Arizona, we stay here 3-4 times a year.. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. The beds are comfy and the staff is caring. One of the nicest BWs as far as room quality and service. One of the best features is that our room had screened windows that opened to allow for fresh air in the evening.

Don’t waste your money here. As soon as we checked in we realized the sheets were dirty . We asked to be moved rooms they stated there was no more rooms . They offered us a clean sheet to put on our bed ourselves that was too small for that matter so we had to go ask again. Breakfast bar was ridiculous. The owner was at the front desk as we where leaving to an event the next day ,we where going to ask for towels and a room clean since they didn’t come . The owner was sleeping at the front desk with her phone on hand watching a movie . She wasn’t responding so we left to the event . On top
Of that they double charged one of the rooms ! They stated that the charges were going to stand . With no real explanation as to why . We were in town for family wedding. So we booked an extra room day of . The owner took the reservation the day of the event and took credit card info . As my family came to check in they stated there was no reservation but that there was a room available . I made sure to ask they won’t charge the card twice right . The man at the front desk reassured me that wouldn’t happen. Then we see the extra charges and call a few days later the owner states you didn’t show up to the reservation ? How is that possible if we got a room that night ? They were so fraudulent. Beware !!! This place was a joke !

I have slept on more comfortable rocks then the beds in this hotel. I had the pleasure of passing thru and staying twice. let me tell you its all the beds. I would rather sleep on the floor.

Also the elevator seems like it has issues. Very slow and jolts. Permit is expired.

Easy parking. Comfortable and very roomy. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but, in winter, you will need to ask for extra blankets as the bed cover provided is entirely inadequate and the odd sort of decorator thing is just that, decoration. |The arrangement for the bath towels is clever, but placed on a shelving arrangement over the bathtub meant only for people over 6' tall. If you are a smaller person, or a child, you may as well bring your own. |The biggest drawback is that there is no one to ask any questions about the room or the amenities of the hotel. It's not that the desk is empty, it's just that the staff doesn't know anything about the hotel amenities. The staff also doesn't seem to know anything about the town either, so questions and recommendations for dinner or directions to trails in the mountains simply cannot be had. Which contributes to a non-welcoming atmosphere, which, for the price, is unconscionable. (There is a visitor's center in Tehachapi if you can get there during business hours.) The woman working the morning I checked out did not seem to understand the question when asked how to get back to the highway. |The website advertises a business center, there is a computer set up in the lobby, but no actual business center.|Other things to consider are that the air conditioning unit was very loud and the cable offerings are "direct TV" which is in no way intuitive when one is searching for - as example - the evening newscast. And, apparently, anything on the network affiliates, PBS channel or a movie that you won't be charged extra for. |The WiFi is strong, but anything that you need to know about using it involves a call to a tech representative on an 800 number. |Not walking distance to any of the shops or restaurants in Tehachapi. No assistance with your bags. |Don't bother with the "breakfast", it's not worth it. There is a very good bakery with excellent coffee in Tehachapi a short distance into the town. |Otherwise, everything you would expect in a corporate franchise.|Finally, check your invoice before you commit & make sure you got the deal you were offered, especially if you go through a 3rd party booking service.

Really nice hotel it seem to stand a new hotel every night and every city for my Wildland Fire job and this make in the top five Best Westerns I've stayed at this month. Breakfast is your typical Hotel continental breakfast taste great if you don't stay in hotels 22 days a month lol
That's a really comfortable rooms are nice and clean. I highly suggest getting the Deluxe Suites it's well worth the price for the amount of space you get especially if you're staying more than one night.

My second stay at this hotel. Clean and of good modern standard. Recommend requesting a room opposite the road/train tracks. Average but adequate breakfast. The area that needs improvement is the attitude of the front desk staff. At both stays, at check-in and check-out, they were indifferent and borderline unfriendly. When I spend upwards of $200/night, I expect a smile and a cordial greeting. ||I would stay again.
