I recently had Bevis Construction replace the old pressure treated lumber on my dock with new PVC decking. From the time I reached out to Chris for an estimate until the project was finished, Bevis Construction did an outstanding job. I worked with Taylor on scheduling, she is fantastic with follow up and follow through. Austin and Trenton did the actual tear out and replacement of the decking, both are exceptional carpenters with a focus on customer satisfaction. For anyone looking to replace decking or have any type of dock or seawall repair/construction completed, I would highly recommend Bevis Construction (see attached photos of completed deck).

construction site workers spend more time with radio blaring. Sending another complaint to Code Enforcement for noise. No issues with construction noise - music is louder than construction work

This company subcontracted Bear Hollow Sod company. It trespassed over private property and destroyed vegetation.
Bevis construction eventually contacted me, apologized and compensated for the damage caused.

This review has been edited because Mr. Bevis did contact us a few days after I posted. He provided some trees, dirt, etc. to make up for the destroyed vegetation.

Worst experience for our first time constructing our home especially from this company.
No communication at all, “Too busy” I guess.

Mike and his staff were so very nice to us as we began our retirement journey. He made us feel like a part of the community even though we just arrived. Bobby was very attentive to our wants and needs. We haven't decided on a builder yet, but Bevis Construction was very impressive.

Let me tell you...... this team, VA builders, is just great to work with. They understand what us customers are going through and do everything they can to make this less stressful, explain the who, what, why,s so we feel a part of this build. If it wasn't for their interaction we would have backed out. Though the home is just now being constructed I have confidence in its success. Check back for an update when the house is complete
