We use to stay here every year. Couple weekends and then usually a week during the summer. Thought the place was great in years past. So in the summer of 2024 we decided to do a seasonal spot. Especially with the advertisement of a pool. Talk of it at the end of summer 2023. The. Talk of it in the spring of 2024. Then talk of it in the summer some time of 2024. Never happened. Instead we got horrible up keep on the grounds. Thick grass, for along time. The splash pad was broken a quite a bit. Wasps in the airplane. The play equipment for the kids is severely run down. The roads have huge ruts in it all over and is impossible to drive around there. The mini golf was in poor shape so we tried it once and never again. The bathrooms were not as clean as years past. Having kids and all of these problems, didn't not make for a great experience for them. Not to mention the revolving door of management. For the price we paid for a seasonal spot we expected better. Such a sad disappointment. It seemed like the owners only cared about the property at sleepy hollow. We will probably never stay at a beyonder campground again.. so disappointing

We have been here for 3+ years. Year round. While the park is going through some changes and working on making changes to the hospitality business. It's overall a great park and a place to live! I want to recognize.... Hailey in the office. Hailey is exceptional in caring for people, their needs, and helping to make the guests here feel good! Please recognize Hailey!

We had a great stay at Lazy Acres! The park is under new management and was very clean and well maintained. Our site was very spacious. There are tons of fun amenities. We especially enjoyed the pond and disc golf. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Staying at this campground has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! When I reserved or week I paid the required amount and had a balance due of $147.88 . On Sept 2nd my credit card was charged for that exact amount and cleared. On the following Saturday after we checked out of our site before check out time and headed home I received a call from the campground saying I still owed $143.88 in which I sent them screenshots via email of my credit card statement in which they said they received the emails showing that had been paid in full! The person I spoke with said they would take care of the issue on their end. Fast forward to today 10/30/24 I received a call from them saying I still owed them the $143.88 so when I spoke with the person I explained I didn’t owe the $143.88 she said she would put me on the do not rent list in which I had already informed her that I would never stay there again. I’m not paying twice for something that’s all ready proven to be paid! This place is absolutely off my list of places to stay! The campground is rundown and the grass was never mowed before we arrived or while we were there! And the whole week we were there was no staff at the campground the whole week!

We will be honest and say that we had an unfortunate experience at Lazy Acres, but we have been restored with the confidence to give them a 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ review!

We were in the area for our daughter’s wedding reception and had rented the guest house in the RV park. We soon discovered we had little to no water pressure, and the air conditioner was not working. It was horrible timing and very frustrating, but after the fact, Stephanie treated us respectfully and in our opinion very appropriately (she returned our call, listened to our complaints, took ownership, and compensated us for our inconveniences). We had assumed that the low water pressure was possibly due to the well at the park not being able to handle the large number of campers over Labor Day weekend, but later found out, they had had a part break, and it was fixed as soon as they were able. One of the frustrations for us and several others camping near us was that no one was answering the phone after hours, even though the number was posted in several places. When Stephanie called me back, she explained what had gone wrong with the water and how they fixed it, as well as taking full responsibility for forgetting her after hours phone when she left the campground on Friday. Mistakes happen and a humble explanation was so helpful.

We believe she is doing a great job with improvements at the park (great paint job in the bathrooms, holes being filled in the roads, bridge fixed at the pond, pool coming next year, and much more)! Whether you want to bring your own camper, stay in a cabin, or enjoy the comforts of home in their guest house, they are ready for you to come visit!!

Maintenance was lacking as grass wasn't mowed in the three weeks we were there, roads through campground are in serious need of repair. Bathrooms were not cleaned on a regular basis. We love the location and are planning on coming for a month in 2025 but would like to be assured that the management is taking care of business! A shout out to Hailey for saving injured owl! Also to lady staying in campground that is helping in office! Sorry I forgot her name.

We have stayed at this campground for 15+ years and this is the worst I've ever seen it. Upon checking in for our 4 week stay the grass was 7+ inches long (yes, I measured). After 2 weeks of no maintenance and basically no staff availability, an employee from another park showed up to mow. Friday of labor day weekend and nearly a full park, we had no water for 24 hours. After leaving messages on the phone of the closed office the manager showed up to bypass the failed water softener (YUK !) The formerly gravel roads have deteriorated to dirt, dust and lots of impassable potholes.|The creator of this park and first owners cared about this park. The second set of owners cared about this park. The current corporation owners have trashed this campground!

Staff was nice and views were nice. This campground was private and now owned by a corp. They need to start investing money in upgrades. The roads are horrible. Most sites looked pretty level but ours wasn’t, we had a hard time leveling our 42’ class A. We were there in Sept. so flies were relentless (not the parks fault.) All in all a good place but hope upgrades are made.
