Who does an event planner hire to plan her wedding? Samar and Blissful Events! While vetting my vendors, I let them know that myself and husband work in the event industry, specializing in high end clients. So on our call I asked, " How will you make sure we stay bride and groom and not mangers on the wedding day?" Her response was poised, elegant, and to the point. I knew she was the one for us! Working with her was a dream and so much fun! She listened when we explained visions and walked us through decisions that may have not been the most conventional. She worked beautifully with our vendors, ensuring they knew when and where to be. Not knowing she knew most of them, since I contracted some before her. She knowledge and passion for her work is infectious. I always felt a new excitement for the wedding after speaking with Samar. She is family centered, which made her fit right in with mine and made the day fun and exciting for everyone. Samar was our piece of mind and center of solace during the hectic planning and wedding day. I loved seeing her around checking on things and flashing a smile to us. She is not only our wedding planner but apart of our family!

If you're on the search for an engagement proposal planner, Samar is the one! Without Samar, the proposal would have been extremely stressful for me knowing that I would have to juggle work meetings, travel for work while trying to plan this surprise proposal. Samar is quick and responsive when it comes to emails regarding planning. She pays attention to small details and help bring the proposal vision together quickly. With that said, she is also very conscious on how her time is spent so time is not wasted on "researching". Samar is a master at her practice, from her helpful advice and recommendations, providing detailed timeline and the proposal was stress-free without any issues. Samar was so thoughtful and attentive to our needs and went above and beyond in delivering such a successful and memorable event. Just to name a few very special touches: she brought a smile to our faces with having our fans on the guest seats for the ceremony 🙂 Asking the bride whether to hold off the start to wait for delayed guests was so thoughtful. Getting those unruly 😉 boys to be ready to catch the "garter football" was impressive - comes from having 4 kids I would guess! 😉

I realized she was "everywhere" and in every part of the day, yet unseen in a remarkable way that I would imagine can only come with being the professional that she is. . .and 300 weddings! Samar was wonderful to reassure us at rehearsal, and multiple times before, that all the details would be handled and that all elements of the bride and groom's vision would be fulfilled. And it was!

Bride and groom, mom and dad, we were absolutely so thrilled and very very happy with the beautiful day that our "baby girl's" wedding turned out to be -all thanks to Samar!

It has been about 7 months since our July Wedding at Beltane Ranch. We still can't believe how amazing our wedding day was. Samar came in to help us with our wedding after we had gone through two reschedules due to covid. When we first spoke on the phone I was drawn to her calm and confident personality and knew she would be the one to guide us to a sucessful event. Within two months we completely replanned the wedding and set a whole new tablescape. Samar helped me to create the wedding I saw in my mind but couldn't get out on paper. Additionally for my indecisive mind she helped me to think through decsions logically providing a foundation as well as comfort in this crazy wedding planning time. On my wedding day I didn't worry about a thing even when I got nervous she was there with a hug and always said the right thing. She was also there for my guests providing cooling mist sprays on a hot 100 degree day. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Samar again she made our day spectacular and was wonderful to work with.

Where do I even begin? In planning our wedding, and even having never had a wedding planner before, I am positive there is NO BETTER TEAM OUT THERE than Samar and Blissful Events.

We interviewed several planners for our wedding in Northern California and were met with much disappointment - others were unprepared, taking a quick intake call after a workout or while driving in the car. However, when we met with Samar for our initial intake, she was the CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL. It was very clear she wanted to make sure our wedding day was about US having fun as a key priority - she walked us through prior events she had done and had clearly thought about ideas to pitch to us, showing she had done her homework and cared about us as a couple.

After agreeing to work together, the planning process was a breeze. She was a great communicator, and although she had to nudge us a few times to make decisions during the process, she did it, again, very professionally and kindly, which speaks to her character as a TRULY CARING, HIGHLY MOTIVATED AND HIGH PERFORMING PERSON. I couldn't believe how fun planning was after hearing horror stories from others during their planning process - and this ease was completely due to Samar.

Her taste level is also above and beyond, redefining what a luxury wedding means. Although we didn't have a limitless budget, Samar was very respectful of our wishes and constantly worked with us to create a breathtaking eventscape that blew all of our guests away.

On the wedding day, although we were stressed, Samar kept a cool head and easily escorted us to the ceremony, to photos, and to dinner and dancing. She added a PERSONAL TOUCH, not settling for a typical "herding the masses" experience for our guests, and personally invited them from space to space. Whatever unavoidable hiccups came about she handled with ease. Again, she made the event completely about us, and we had the most incredible day of our lives because of Samar.

This is not to leave out the countless little things in between - encouraging messages just because, thoughtful gifts, and fun ideas about how we could make sure the planning process was a time for us to reflect about our journey as a couple. This is the personal touch that MAKES BLISSFUL EVENTS AN ABOVE-AND-BEYOND WEDDING PLANNING COMPANY.

To summarize: If I could give a Michelin star to a planner, Samar and Blissful events would win my full 3/3 star rating. And a 10/10, 5/5, whatever the exceptional category is. BOOK WITH THEM, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Thank you to Samar and her team for making our day unforgettable!
