We had an incredible multi-day Indian fusion wedding weekend in Santa Barbara and I can’t thank the Blue Lotus team enough for making it such a success!!

We spent a lot time and effort deciding on our choice of wedding planner and I really believe our wedding weekend wouldn’t have been half as amazing and seamless if we went with a different team.

I would highly recommend Blue Lotus. Everyone on the team was incredible to work with and it was really incredible to have the support of a whole team on the actual wedding weekend.

Throughout the whole process Neha and Bella helped us craft a vision and bring it to life. They were always so supportive in making our dreams and last minute family requests come to life. They also helped call our issues or blind spots during the planning process and came up with mitigation plans before it ever became an issue.

We wanted a wedding that felt authentic to us, was fun for guests, and still hit the traditional points that were important to our families. With Blue Lotus we came up with a 3 event, 3 venue, 36 hours of wedding that truly knocked it all out of the park. And the best part was seeing it all come together on the day and miraculously not being stressed about the details because we were so confident in the team.

The Blue Lotus Insights Team is absolutely wonderful to work with! The planning and execution of our wedding events was phenomenal. Due to COVID-19 our planning with Blue Lotus was extended and they were extremely helpful along the way by helping us work around a postponed wedding date, vendor closures, and last minute emergencies. Our wedding was a multi-day multicultural wedding and they helped ensure every event was planned just how we wanted it. They are very well-connected in the wedding industry, so Neha and her team had plenty of recommendations and suggestions along the way, but they always made sure not to dissuade us from our vision for each event. While there were many vendors we wanted to work with that Blue Lotus Insights was familiar with, there were also quite a few we specifically wanted that were new to them, but the team was very open to each one and took care of everything. Neha and Courtney kept us on track throughout the entire planning process and Courtney made sure that everything was completing leading up to our wedding events. Courtney individually checked in with each vendor throughout the process and ensured that everything would run smoothly. The week of our wedding we had several issues arise. First, our Priest got COVID-19. Neha was quick to call many priests and let us know who our options were. Second, we had two different vendors surprise us with price increases or additional items. Neha and Courtney spent countless hours on the phone with each vendor working out details and securing the original contracted prices without impacting our events. The BLI team organized monthly and weekly meetings and were always available if we had a question for them or if a new idea popped into our minds. We have received many, many compliments on the execution of our events from many guests and we truly owe that to the BLI team! On the day of the events we (the bride and groom) and our families were very relaxed as we knew that the BLI team had everything under control. The timelines are incredible and they truly know how to make the events run smoothly. Neha and her team helped make our wedding weekend feel magical and we are forever grateful for their dedication to our wedding events. Courtney, you are so incredible and truly a pleasure to have on our team. We miss our weekly calls and are so grateful that you do what you do! Neha, you have built an incredible wedding planning business and you know exactly what you are doing and how to do it. With this team, your wedding will be the wedding of your dreams! We hired the Blue Lotus Insights Team to help plan our 3 event, Indian wedding (which happened April 2023). I had seen their work at 3 other events (2 weddings, 1 engagement party), and knew we had to have them help us.

We had spoken to a few other event planners, but ultimately chose Neha and team because of their attention to detail, organizational skills, and Neha's ability to calm aunties and uncles down. My husband and I have families with very different opinions (from each other, and from ours), and Neha was able to communicate with them in such a way that eventually, they agreed with what my husband and I wanted to do. The BLI team's services are definitely worth the price.

This was a bit of a "destination" wedding for us (we live in Northern California, and got married in San Diego), but we didn't feel as nervous knowing that Neha and the team were there to help us. And they were PREPARED. When it came to talking to the designer, Neha and JL had the dimensions of the room ready, ceiling height, etc. Things that I would have had no idea on. They were so helpful with the baraat as well - the Groom didn't know what he wanted to do for the longest time, and they sent over recommendations of different vendors and methods that he could use.

The team is excellent at communicating. We had a group text with multiple BLI team members in, and someone was always responding. They are quick to reply to emails, and will call you with vendor updates / event updates / follow ups to questions you may have.

To this day, I have no idea if anything went wrong at my wedding, the BLI handled everything so professionally and efficiently. Neha had told us on one of the calls that her goal was to make sure that we didn't feel any pressure even if things did go wrong, and she truly lived up to that.

We had a lot of moving parts during our wedding events. On the day of the Sangeet, my husband and I wanted to go to the beach to do a photoshoot - Neha made sure that our cars were ready to go with video/photo, and made sure everyone was sticking to the timeline (the BLI timeline is UNMATCHED. It is so organized and detailed, and I think one of the best in the business). The week of our wedding, the Groom's mom decided they needed to have one more pooja in the morning before the Groom started the baraat (he was starting on a boat, cruising around for an hour, and then coming back for the walking portion). There was literally only 15 minutes in the timeline for that to happen, but Neha and the team kept everyone on schedule and made sure that the Baraat didn't get delayed (both during the boat portion, and the walking portion).

The Groom's side of the family had strict Jain's in attendance, which meant we had to have 2 kitchens, 2 separate food stations, etc. Neha and the team made sure that at each event, that there was no issues with the food, and that everyone was able to eat.

Speaking of eating, THEY MADE SURE THE BRIDE AND GROOM ATE! This was huge for me, since I had heard stories of bride's not being able to eat food at their own weddings. But Neha and JL hunted us down at each of the events, made us sit, and got us a plate of food so we weren't hungry. They also made sure we had drinks in our hands when we needed it, and gave us water constantly so we weren't dehydrated.

I wanted to give a shoutout to Rose too, who was the Bridal attendant on the day of the wedding. She had coffee and a breakfast sandwich ready for me first thing in the morning, had an emergency kit with makeup touch ups and Aspercreme spray for my heels - she was prepared. Not to mention, she held my phone for me all day and took some behind the scenes pictures.

It feels so weird now not having Neha and JL on the phone with us every week - the BLI team truly becomes your best friends/family. We are SO thankful for everything you did for us, it was the wedding of my dreams. I cannot recommend BLI enough to any future Bride! Seriously, just hire them. You won't regret it.

I don't know if I can capture into words just how incredible Neha and the team from BLI are. We spent a year and a half together planning my wedding. Neha is absolutely the best wedding planner in the business! She and the team fully planned, designed, and executed our mehndi party, garba, ceremony, and reception. Every part of my wedding week that was touched by her was absolute perfection.

Neha and the BLI team are so detail oriented. From day one we were on shared documents with spreadsheets, timelines, and goals to hit each month. With a busy work schedule, I needed some (aka a lot) of hand holding and Neha and her team were there every step of the way. She truly felt like my best friend through this process and I honestly miss my calls with her. She was never there to push her ideas and always honored by vision. She gave options for vendors, but also was open to anyone I was interested in working with. All of this resulted in 4 incredibly executed events that really showcased my vision with her expertise. She has incredible taste and really knows how to create beautiful events. Her rental company was such a lifesaver and even helped with events she wasn't planning. She took care of literally everything and handled tons of phone calls with the decorator, lighting, DJ. I had always dreamed of having my elderly, wheelchair bound uncle walk me down the aisle and this required some problem solving with my raised aisle. They went to four different stores to find a ramp that would work and ended up having the hotel lift him onto the aisle. At no point did she give up and say it wasn't possible--of all the events this was probably my most treasured moment.

I could keep going and going, but honestly, you will not regret working with the BLI team. I've had countless friends tell me they didn't have the best experience with their planners, but that will not be the case with Neha. The best investment and decision I ever made was hiring Neha from the start. She was amazing at navigating things with my parents and really eased a lot of tensions and concerns. I wish I could have another big event just so I could work with Neha and her team again.

Hiring Blue Lotus Insights to plan + design your event is the best decision you will make! Neha and her team came all the way out to Porterville, CA and transformed my parent's home for my engagement ceremony + party.

Neha drove several hours for multiple site visits/walkthroughs and had so many ideas on how to utilize the space. She coordinated all of the vendors seamlessly despite working with most of them for the first time as they were local to the Central Valley. She and her team even helped us find a valet parking vendor after the one we had booked cancelled just days before the event! She handled all of the rentals (chairs, tables, bars, lounge furniture, vendor tents, tableclothes, plateware, glassware), built a beautiful wooden ceremony stage, and helped with the overall styling of all the decor. This is all on top of the planning and day of coordination!

The BLI team really does it all and there is no way we could have pulled this party off without them. I'm beyond excited to be working with them on my upcoming wedding as well. Thank you BLI!
