It is so gorgeous here! The bungalows over see the most beautiful lake and you can see it right from your living window! The hosts Tracy and Neil are so wonderful to allow myself and other nurses to stay here with minimal cost in the off season. The security locks are a great touch and the beds are so comfy. There is a fire pit and each bungalow has a grill. Everything to think of they thought of and the character in the bungalow first the tourist attractions. It’s one my favorite resorts and I will definitely come here in my off season just to getaway. The horizon and skies are gorgeous and the locals are very friendly too. There are grocery stores and a club area and bars within 5 minutes and good Mexican food with margaritas. There’s even an amusement part close . You would be missing out on a great place if you didn’t stay here! A place to build fun memories. We sure did

We booked the Blue Water Bungalow's to spend some time together as an extended family, and the experience did not disappoint. Each family had their own bungalow that fit their family size, and we loved that we could could come out to spend time together to enjoy the amenities like games, picnic tables, and the fire pit in the common area between bungalows. The public beach was only a short walk away, and we added the lilypad rental to our booking for even more fun for the kids. Such a great experience - we would definitely book again!

4 sisters and a cousin come to visit! Add in the mix the Blue Water Bungalows- this was perfect cocktail for a wonderful trip. The bungalows have a great theme and are comfortable to stay in ! Before we knew there might be a concern Traci reached out to take care of us so that our trip would be an even greater success. Our neighbor from Illinois was so helpful and was able to give us great recommendations for places to stop. We will be back to visit and make more family memories at the Blue Water Bungalows

I had the pleasure of experiencing an extended stay at the bungalows. I was able to choose the bungalow that suited me best. I chose number 2. It was only me for 3 and a half months and I had everything I could need. Traci and Neal were excellent hosts and were quick to answer my messages. They did everything to make my stay comfortable. They even provided me with a clothes rack so that I could hang my dress clothes up. Everything about my experience was top notch. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends who are visiting the area.

These rooms are so quaint! Just across the street from the water and close to amenities and activities. Rooms were clean and well maintained! The little kitchens are great for people/families who are staying awhile and want to do some meals in instead of out. We fully recommend!

Our family had a great experience at the Blue Water Bungalows. They were in great condition and had all the amenities necessary. They were also very close to the beach and other attractions.

Update: After a recent stay in August 2024, our family has now stayed here three years in a row. Condition and location are still great. It's a perfect place for our nine person group.

Every moment spent at the bungalows was 5 stars ( plus an extra bonus star ⭐️.)! An okoboji gem that I almost want to keep to myself! 💎 We had our own parking spot, easy check in, security code for keyless entry into the bungalow (so no worrying about carrying a card or losing your card ) cozy welcome w/special blue water bungalow koozies for guests, all the amenities you could need…and enough towels for all the guests during their stay! Loved the blue keurig! The space was modern, incredibly clean, smelled amazing, had a breath-taking view of the lake, beautiful sunsets and a few shorts steps to the beach. The beds were so comfy, the neighborhood was friendly and peaceful. The bungalows are each decorated in a beachy theme. We loved the adorable boat bed and fun LED light up table…they were a conversation piece — never seen anything like it! We loved that each bungalow had its own adorable outdoor patio space and a grill, plus outdoor lawn games and comfortable chairs to relax in while around the fire pit. We were overly surprised at how well thought out and taken care of the property was, and how they knew just exactly what their guests would need! The location is just a few short minutes from all the main Boji main attractions and dining!

Our hosts - Traci, Neal and Cami- were extremely friendly, attentive and kind. They have a special love for Okoboji and it shows. They also know the area inside and out! Best most people around! I highly recommend this place to anyone, whether it’s girls weekend, romantic getaway, or a family vacation, Blue Water Bungalow is your place and will not disappoint. We are already planning our next summer trip to Boji and booking now….before this place fills up!

I definitely recommend Blue Water Bungalows to anyone who is looking for a clean and affordable place to stay while in Okoboji. I appreciate all of the personal touches and extra amenities added to each of the rooms. Having the owners, Traci & Neal, or their daughter, on site was a perk, as they offered great places to eat and places to visit while in town. The private beach is a quick two-minute walk from the bungalows and you have a view of the beach while sitting around the firepit or playing bags. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Water Bungalows. I will most definitely book with them again when visiting Boji in the years to come.
