Had the best time mining at Board Camp with Cheryl and Debbie! We were out all day and came home with some of the most beautiful quartz crystals and clusters. Such a great experience for us first timers and such informative and kind hosts! We’ll definitely be returning for the unexplained tour!!

We definitely give 5 starts! Cheryl the owner was so kind. Debbie the mine guild gave an introduction at the beginning on what to look for and was present the whole time for question raised during the day. We started at 9am time slot and stayed until closing. I was a little nervous taking 6 kids ages 2-13 on an adventure like this but it was a very family friendly atmosphere and pups are welcome too! We left with a five gallon bucket of Crystals. A win for us!

This was mine and husband’s first time at Board Camp Crystal Mine, and our first time mining for crystals. It was very informative and we learned a lot. We did not find a ton of crystals, but we also had no idea what we were doing. We are looking forward to going back next year. Definitely worth the time and effort.

Great place. The people are friendly and informative. My wife is already planning our next trip. Note to husbands: fill up your buckets. Apparently your wife needs a million cool rocks.

We had so much fun at Board Camp for our first crystal mining experience! Cheryl and Debbie were so kind and helpful and made sure we left with a few crystals! We also loved hearing about all of the phenomena that have happened on the property, we are a science/physics family so being around people with shared interests always leads to interesting conversation around energies, dimensions, entities such as big foot etc. by the time we left we felt like family! We definitely recommend Board Camp and hope to visit again and maybe even get to do an unexplained tour someday!

All my son could talk about was digging for crystals in Arkansas. I did a lot of research on the different places offering this, and Board Camp seemed the most personable and helpful. They answered all my questions and helped us when we got there. They show you what to do and look for to make your experience that much better.

What an awesome place with awesome people!!! Go crystal digging during the day and take the unexplained tour at night!! Immerse yourself into the geological aspect and the lore of the area. Love this place!

This was a last minute stop, but was well worth it. The Owners, Orville and Cheryl, are both very friendly and very helpful. Orville is hilarious and it would have been worth the admission price just to listen to him cracking jokes! He is very knowledgeable and put us in a great spot. In only an hour or so we found a half a bucket full of crystals. All were interesting, and some were very nice. You will want to bring bug spray, sunscreen, a hat and water, because you will be out in the woods digging in the ground. It was so much fun and we will definitely be back! Oh, and don't try to be tough, wear the gloves!
