So I reserved a room in early February for the last weekend of March. This would be spring break weekend. Upon arrival, the room I booked was not available. Trudy handled everything. She got me a room to accommodate my family of 5 and the wait only took about 45 minutes. Others had been waiting several hours. I really appreciate her hospitality and for that alone, I recommend this place. Yes it's older. No it's not as glorious as some images make it appear. But it is affordable and as comfortable as any other (non-Hilton) place.

Our room was nice, but wished we had a room facing ocean view shower was nice bad thing about it was we always had cold water had to call front desk for maintenance to come fix the problem each time water got cold. Last night there was horrible, neighbors made so much noise being loud couldn't sleep.Security didn't do much sided with them but he comes and beats on our door like we're the ones being loud when we couldn't even sleep with all the noise. Doesn't matter if they're on spring break we were on our spring break and if you're going to rent a room anywhere at a hotel the least people can do is have some consideration for others and courtesy NOT TO DISTURB THE PEACE OF OTHERS!!! hotel didn't offer complimentary breakfast. Hotel was a nice place over all except those issues I mentioned.

Room was a suite with 2 queen beds and kitchen and sofa sleeper. It was clean. Pots and pans were useless being burned and dirty unusable to me. Full size fridge was nice and clean. Floors were clean. Beds were uncomfortable to my liking. Would definitely stay again and would recommend if you're not looking for a 5 star place. This will suit your needs but bring your own pots and pans. We stayed at the dunes on Boardwalk.

General attitude of staff was abrupt and short. Not a pleasant experience.
Room was 90 minutes late to check in. Rooms dirty. Pool closed. Hot tub closed. Entire property smelled of Pot being smoked.

Would not suggest with family.

I booked a room at this hotel and had an emergency come up and I explained the situation to the front desk supervisor and she was not only uncaring she still insisted we pay for one night when people were at the desk trying to get rooms. I am glad we are not staying here the place did not look very nice and signs on the front desk state the internet does not work well. Do yourself a favor stay elsewhere. I hope they use my money to fix the internet and place an add for a nice and friendly front desk supervisor who is friendly and compassionate.

The room was not recently updated with finesse, but it certainly served it's purpose and the rate for a balcony oceanside room made up for the lack in general maintenance. I'd go again if looking for a budget friendly option.

The guy at the front desk that looks like Dan Levy, from Schitts Creek, was the absolute best! Made it even better that he looked exactly like him! Very funny but still professional at the same time, while being super busy! He made the day with his hospitality and being super friendly!

The place was well situated on the seafront, the room was fairly clean and had everything we needed.|The downside was there was no correspondence to notify us of:|1. The pool being closed/drained so out of use |2. Workers being on site (presumably working on the pool) who not only were incredibly loud but started work seemingly early as we were woken up by the hammering and drilling directly outside our room around 7:30am - again there was zero mention upon check in that this was going to happen otherwise we would have booked elsewhere |3. We were issued a voucher (as all guest are) for the bar & grill that had been temporarily closed - no mention of this either

Ok let's do a breakdown 1st I booked gulf view rooms 2 of them they were right on the beach really easy access although there was no view because the weeds were grown way up so you couldn't see. But it was right by the beach access and easy access to both pools. 2 the rooms were very clean though outdated and in need of a few repairs though minor. The bathroom was very small but bathtub was nice size but no water pressure in the shower but the hot water worked well. Also the TV kept just randomly turning off in 1 of the rooms also both mini fridges didn't work well 1 did have a freezer which did work the other didn't have a freezer portion at all both didn't get cold so they were pretty useless. The beds though were super comfortable and linens very clean I'm super cautious so I did lift and look for any signs of pests nothing I think we saw 1 waterbug in the room but I mean it's Florida by the water so it wasn't anything note worthy. There were no roaches or anything as I said very clean. 3. Housekeeping never cleaned but they did bring plenty of fresh towels and tp and took the dirty towels I'm sure if we would have asked they would have cleaned but we didn't need that. They were always nice. 4. The pools one in the middle of the hotel was very large and always very clean and well maintained water was cold as it didn't get much sunlight there but very nice pool. The second pool with the gulf view as I said before the view was non existent because of the over growth but the pool was a good bit smaller than the other but still nice clean and much warmer than the other. Okay so final words for the price it was great and worth it I don't think you can ask for much more in the price range they have and also the fact they offer rooms with 2 beds plus a bunk gives plenty of space for large families like ours. All and all I say it's a good hotel and thank them for a great stay.

Great place to stay. Don't let all these horrible reviews scare you its a older hotel but it is nice the area is amazing close to everything you could want. Our room was great cleaned up nice the sheets were clean the pillows are good the blankets were just fine even with our ac set to 66 and it cooled our room perfectly sometimes way to darn cold for me. I had a ground floor room with beach view and 2 queen beds I will say the beds are not queens but fulls instead, my girl friend and i had no issue sleeping on one my Daughter 7 yrs old had no issue at all with hers she loves this place! The pools are nice they got busy Friday night and Saturday night of course and they are open to 10pm. I found the workers to be very kind and helpful anytime I needed anything. The refrigerator worked great we had a great stay here and can't wait to come back again such a great price and place to stay. All I can say is don't let the bad reviews keep you away.

My husband and our two young boys stay at the Boardwalk condos every year.. We love it and have never had an issue... But to make a quick, cheap (this was where we messed up... You get what you pay for..) weekend trip we decided to stay in the hotel. I booked a Gulf view room and was assigned a room with a very small glimpse of the beach. The rest of our view was palm trees, and the pool which was not a pleasant view honestly... The concrete and chairs are desperate for a pressure wash and the pool lights didn't even work. Everywhere you go on the property smells like weed, even in our bathroom inside the hotel.. This was not a pleasant conversation with our 6 year old when he asked why the beach "smelled dirty" (I know this isn't the hotels fault... But it was still a part of the experience). If you are unable to pull your luggage up and down stairs, do not stay here or make sure you request a ground floor room. There is an elevator but you still have 4 or 5 steps on each floor to get to the rooms.. We really didn't get a clean vibe from the entire place. It wasn't a great experience in all and our room was so tiny. The bathroom was even worse.. To make matters worse when we woke on the day of checkout the refrigerator had leaked all into the floor, and I am so glad I woke before my toddler woke up to run to the potty like he does often, we would have had a big accident on our hands because water was all in the floor. More issues, maybe not necessarily a hotel issue but an issue for us, was the constant use of personal speakers by the pools by other guests playing very inappropriate music LOUDLY. Music that we do not allow our children to listen to. Nothing was ever done by the hotel staff to solve this issue even after something was said to hotel personnel. Very young little girls dancing in very vulgar ways on the pool decks.. Nothing was ever said by hotel staff to solve these issues and I feel like the lack of security is a part of this problem. It was not a clean, pleasant, kid friendly experience that we were hoping for. I don't usually leave reviews at all, but I feel like other mommas and daddy's need to know befofe deciding to stay here.. I 10/10 do not recommend!

Room was great - beach is literally 2 minutes away. Bar had decent food and the little convience store has good coffee and snacks.

Parking was easily accessible and onsite staff are great to work with.

Only cons we did had during our stay was the pool and the kiddie pool - the kiddie pool will give a child hypothermia. The water is unbearably cold.

There was dirt everywhere in the room, especially in the bathroom. There were cockroaches everywhere. When the hotel staff confirmed their presence by showing them the photos and videos, they moved us to another room, but unfortunately there were also cockroaches. I took photos and showed them to the supervisor. The next day, there was no water in the shower and no TV service. The social areas were very dirty, especially the elevators. The hotel is well located, but with poor management it will never prosper. I would never recommend it. The weekend turned into a nightmare.
