This is a large fair grounds with lots of parking spaces. They are in the process of putting up their annual holiday decorations which it is quite a display. They have a sky tram to view the fair when it’s operating each summer. They have things going on year around.

Great Treasure Valley Vintage Flea Market at the expo! Found some treasures! I collect cats for my treasure cabinet. I also found a little rooster and a picture for my son’s bedroom wall.

Great place! We come once a year for the Western Idaho Fair and love the environment. Vendors are always great as well and it’s definitely a plus that they use the expo center… so if you need to cool off from the heat, you can enter and enjoy the vendors in there too!! The animals and our favorite to look at for sure!

Went to the fair on a Tuesday , with a $2 dollar special entrance fee and $2 food vendor specials & lasted until 4pm. A great way to eat smaller sized samples. Tacos, lemonade, pronto pups, mini donuts and fried Oreo. The rides are $40 all you can ride all day , which if you ride almost every ride two times , you’ll get a great deal. Going in the middle of the week is good time to go as well if you have that ability to do so. Concerts are must as well & they have some good music too. Will be looking forward to next years Western Idaho Fair as well!

I was here, not for the fair, but for a Dairy Goat Show over Memorial weekend. We have had it this facility for years. Usually we have hot water, but this year they did not turn it on. Towels had been put into the holders but failed to come out and the maintenance person never corrected that. Not sure why they restricted us to wood shavings and did not allow us to use straw. Straw composts just as well as wood shavings. Wood shavings can make goats if they eat it, really sick.

I did appreciate the hoses in the wash barn.

The Ada Co Fair is a good one. It has one of the largest kids' rides section of any fair I've been to. It got busier as the night went on, so take your little ones earlier. Every food option and junk food you can imagine. Enjoy.

We go to these fairgrounds several times a year to various events. The biggest of which is the Western Idaho Fair. The ground are big enough to hold a large fair, has free plentiful parking, decent restrooms, and good animal barns. The fair itself is always set up well, with water stations and a large petting zoo on top of typical American fair attractions like rides and competitions.
