Stayed 2 nights on our honeymoon.
We wished we had stayed longer, it was so peaceful.
The accommodation was clean with good wi fi, air con, fridge and bathroom (shower)
Robyn was the perfect host, she even left us a bottle of champagne and card to celebrate our wedding. She was very friendly and very informative about the surroundings.
If we are ever lucky enough to visit Borrego springs we would definitely stay here again. PERFECT!

My husband and I and our small dog stayed here last month. It was fantastic! The room was very clean and nicely furnished. I would have liked to unpack my clothes into a dresser, but it didn't really matter because everything else was so great. The self check in and keyless doors are brilliant.
If you forget anything there is a community cupboard outside with sunscreen, bandaids and other items.
Each room has a small table and chairs outside the door. There is a fire pit area and a BBQ area. There is even a little library! I learned a lot about the local plants and history from books available there. The pool looked inviting but it was too chilly for me to swim in early March.
It was quiet and dark at night and he stars were spectacular.
The location of the motel is perfect, close to town and restaurants. Close to the wonderful sculptures and close to the wildflower bloom.
Beautiful landscaping too. The owners have thought of everything to make this motel a wonderful place to stay.

A simple but lovely place to stay with all the essentials. The lack of a TV is also appreciated. The hospitality is also great. There is a pool, BBQ pit, and outdoor chairs and tables for relaxing, so there is nothing lacking.

Booking a room for this place thru AirBnB was somewhat confusing (it's listed twice on there) but otherwise seamless. I unfortunately missed the deadline to leave a review on that website and so have decided to leave one here. I stayed during early summer. The location relative to sculptures and restaurants was great! Many businesses close during the summer, but the area guide binder inside the room was still very helpful. The host was very communicative (including before arrival), helpful, and kind. The room had everything I needed, including powerful air conditioning. It looked as expected from the photos! I loved the tranquility of being able to lay by the pool under the stars at night! The only thing I wish differently about the room would have been a longer mirror, but that's a minor request. I would gladly stay at this magical desert retreat again!

I've always loved Borrego Springs, but I love it even more now that I found the Borrego Springs Motel. What a fantastic place to stay! My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the complimentary sparkling water and energy bars were a welcomed sight after riding my motorcycle for 10 hours in the desert. The entire property is meticulously maintained , and it's located in a perfect location for enjoying the peace and quiet of the desert. If you travel to Borrego Springs, and you don't stay at the Borrego Springs Motel, then you are missing out on a truly great experience. My compliments to the owner for maintaining such a fantastic motel!

I am reluctant to write a review because I feel like I found one of the best kept secrets in Borrego Springs. I have been visiting Borrego Springs for years, I have stayed at some of the nicest resorts the town has to offer and the more modest places as well. My stay at the Borrego Springs motel was equally as comfortable as my stays at other high dollar properties in town. The motel is simply adorable! The management’s complimentary box covers anything one could have forgot to pack and the bed was so comfortable too! I will surely make a point of staying here again! I hope management doesn’t catch on to the gem they have and raise the prices or the cat gets out of the bag and it gets so booked up it becomes impossible to get a room.

My wife and I are extensive travelers, usually staying at upscale hotels. We tried this unique motel and found it delightful. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Robin, the hotel manager, was responsive, helpful, and provided us useful hiking advice. We were on a two week road/hiking trip in California and this motel proved to be the best bargain of all the locations we stayed. Consumer Reports would certainly rate this a “Best Buy” if they were reviewing charming motels. When we return to this area we are heading directly to this motel! Phil.

I’m so glad I stayed here!! You will be, too, if you’re looking for an immaculately clean room, comfortable bed, the best value for your money, and above all, sweet *peace and quiet*. Only 8 rooms here so book it quickly. I loved it from the minute I turned in, right off the Christmas Circle; walking distance to restaurants and shops.

This place has an old-fashioned vibe but all the comforts, including fridge with complimentary treats, microwave, Kuerig coffee, great shower power, functioning bathroom window-Yaay-ceiling fan, (many high-dollar hotels don’t even offer this!), lovely linens, and Wi-Fi. What it does NOT have? A television in the room. I applaud this and hope the Management will never change it. Who wants to hear your neighbor’s “noise of choice”, when you can be sitting on a lovely back patio peacefully gazing at, listening to, and absorbing the desert?

This motel is a darling gem in every respect (did I mention the solar panels and unique room keys?). Light, bright, friendly, perfect. The manager (Robin) has her finger squarely on the pulse of what makes a difference for a wonderful visit to Borrego. This will always be my first choice.
