Maria is awesome! Took all the stress away from planning a wedding and went above and beyond by keeping me within budget, but what I loved the most was that she really takes the time to listen. I was having a difficult time putting together my ceremony layout but Maria quickly jumped in to assist. She remembered I mentioned some of my favorite love quotes from our very first conversation of wedding planning and helped me personalize my entire wedding script. I am truly in love with her work! From this point forward I can not see myself doing business with anyone else for any family event.

I highly recommend Maria from “By Your Side Events” as your wedding coordinator! Maria was truly professional and a delight to work with. As a fellow business owner in the industry I was able to communicate with her through email and she responded in a timely matter. I truly appreciate her partnership on crafting the perfect micro wedding for our client. She even went above and beyond by flying from CA-NYC two weeks in advance to quarantine before the big day!! I have much respect for a fellow businesswoman who diligently follows CDC standards and has true compassion for the safety and wellness of her clients. We are so glad to of had the opportunity to work with such a wonderful person and look forward to partnering in the future!

Was almost always significantly late to meetings, including our rehearsal. Made errors on the timeline that led to some mistakes at our event. We often felt deprioritized and forgotten about, and it was heartbreaking because we had so much trust and confidence in her in the beginning and spent so much money hiring her. We also really liked her on a personal level, so unfortunately we tried to rationalize away a lot of our disappointments. However, our friends and family were shocked that a wedding planner would be so late to something so important, and we just couldn’t make that feel ok. I do hope this was a fluke because other reviews are all good, but I feel obligated to let others know about our experience.

Maria was the best! She took our call anytime, always was on time (early even!) and so prepared for our meetings. We are so thankful we found her and her amazing day of team! She killed it on our wedding day and made us feel safe and taken care of. Thank you so much BYS!!
