This review is dated for 11-21-2020. This golf course is extremely fun to play. Every hole is dramatically different from the next. Many elevation changes. Plenty of room for error off the tee box, however good scoring will be dependent of your short game on this course because the greens are firm and fast. Some of my favorite greens I've played. Course was in amazing condition.

Very disappointed about the food and beverage department in this country club. Should pay attention to all your bills!!! Through the club events, they may charge extra money from the members. Asked them for refund, but they defamed and gave rediculous reasons and excuses, they never give the money back. Looks like they are the owners of the Calabasas Country Club, especially, the food and beverage department looks like is fully owned by them! Staff work there don't follow any legal rules, and they can charge whatever the extra fee they want from the club members.

Poor services, bad attitude, even the manager here, name Angie, she did nothing to face, help and solve the problems for the member clients. Highly recommend the real owner or the director of the Calabasas Country Club can take some actions, fire or change some of your employees who work in this department may be a good choice, or more and more club members will be disappointed about this country club.

Had a bridal shower there. the coordinator was extremely rude. Yelled during the party at the DJ and threatened to call the cops. Destroyed my daughter’s bridal shower. Angie who is the food and beverage director believed every lie her coordinator said. They promised things that were not delivered. The worst place to have an event at

I played Calabasas CC today, August 8, 2024. I could not get over the terrible shape the golf course was in. Due to overseeding the fairways burn out at the end of August into September. This time the course must have started turning in July because the conditions now are awful. It is clear that the owner, Gene Axelrod, is putting virtually no money into the course despite raising dues on a regular basis.
There are dead leaves covering all the cart pathways, as well as the surrounding areas to the fairways. The hills that border the holes are also covered in old dead leaves with some dead plants thrown in as well. The ponds and creeks are full of moss and and look dirty. Some of them have odors as well.
Hole #12, a par three, looks like a warzone. There is no grass by the creek that is in front of the green and the beige dirt is about 10 yards wide and stretches from one side of what was once a fairway, to the other side.
I was a member at Calabasas for twenty years and left because I was not happy with the course conditions. I never imagined they would get this awful.
