Great half day trip to escape the heat and catch a few fish . Enjoyed seeing a new to me section of the White River The staff did a great job fitting us in last minute and my wife caught the big fish of the day . Burt our guide was a very knowledgeable humble man who we enjoyed our day and conversations with .

Brian is a nice guy but in a market as competitive as this you must bring your A game. A mistake in the reservation, we asked for two boats he had one ready. $40 in undisclosed fees raised our bill 50% from what is quoted on his website. $6 each for a chair and an “electric starter” fee of $28. Lastly, a voicemail on my wife’s phone reminding us not to be late with our return ten minutes before it was due puts him at a disadvantage come time to book our next trip. The motors were newer and ran great but the boats are tattered and we had fiberglass slivers from where our arms made contact with the sides while fishing. A couple tweaks would go along way. I hope this helps. If 3.5 stars were an option, that’s what we would have given. The fishing was excellent.

It's not often you book a fishing trip+vacay and come away feeling like you've gained lifelong friends and are already planning your return visit. Yes, our experience was that good. Brian was helpful and informative from the moment we called prior to our visit w/him upon our arrival at Calico Rock. He was honest with us about the river conditions and the chance of catching fish--willing to lose business rather than tarnish the reputation of the dock. Thankfully, we were able to go out on day 3 from our original plan--and caught our limit with Eddy as our guide. Hubs said, "Best fishing trip ever!" Daughter caught the biggest trout and made great memories for her Bday week. Shore lunch was an added bonus. (Brian's homemade bread was amazing!) We will definitely be back, just not soon enough.?

Went out today with Bert for half day trip. Great time! He knew the good spots and guided the boat thru the current with ease. Caught a lot of fish. Can’t wait to go again!

Love this place! I have NEVER had a bad experience with these guys. They are all very knowledgeable on the area and fun to be around. Shore lunch was awesome! Limit every time ?. It’s my go to place for guide services, bait, tackle and fun!
