This is what mountain biking is about! We had a great day riding with California Expeditions! Tom and his crew were excellent guides and very accommodating for our group. I had no clue trails of such great quality existed in Georgetown, CA! Looking forward to getting back out there and rippin’ with CA-EXP gang this fall!!

This is a great neighboring business to mine. The groups coming and going for these trips are always pumped and full of smiles. The owner is so respectful and conscientious, and it seems like he knows how to show his guests a great time both out on the trail and back at the shop. I've lived in the area 35 years and couldn't begin to claim to know the local forest quite like he does. Would really recommend anyone looking for a great ride with great people to book the Georgetown trip!

I have gone on a couple shuttle rides with Thomas and company at California Expeditions and all I can say is WOW. The quality of trails we got to ride, the amount of fun that was had and the awesome crew they shuttling us up and down the mountain was top notch. I cant really express how fun these trips were. I have done shuttle services in other areas but they are simple, drive you up, drop you off..and thats it. Cal EXP is different..they drop you off and then pick you up and drop you off again!! You can bring food, drinks, spare parts, water..whatever you need for a full day of riding, and leave it in the coolers or in the van. Less stuff to worry about while out riding the trails. It really is a unique, and awesome experience on a mountain bike. The various trails that are out in Georgetown allow all ranges of riding styles and skill levels to enjoy, between rocky chunk trails to loamy forest scenic rides, it really is a mountain bikers paradise. If you haven't had a chance to check them out, I highly recommend it. A+++

My trip for that day was amazing. We hit warmup fun and technical trails. Then shot to more advanced trails. Providing us with a clear view of the terrain. Then we apparently showed the guide were ready for more advanced trails so we hit a much more advanced super chunky rocky trail called the waterfall trail. Nailed it! Sealing my day with massive skill building while riding and so.much fun. I will be back.

I had such an amazing day shuttling Georgetown! We got a van full of friends together, and had a great time on and off the bike. We got in way more runs than I expected, and the riding is gnarly and incredible.

Tom and his team delivered a whole day of shuttled access to trails that rival Downieville in terms of fun and difficulty. Having a local tour guide along for the ride helps get the best out of a trail system that would have been difficult to navigate on my own. Awesome time, great service, and a surprisingly low price.
