My fiancé Dan and I stayed there last week. We didn't spend much time at the lodge itself as we were out and about enjoying the beautiful scenery in that area of Colorado. However, at the end of a busy day, it felt like going HOME! The rock and wood structure was just gorgeous with some impressive special features. It Is beautifully decorated, and had lots of outdoor space in which to enjoy the incredible weather! And what can I say about the owners? Valerie and her husband were wonderful! Warm and welcoming, with a lot of tips on places to go and things to do, and both have such a great sense of humor! They also have this awesome dog named Bobo.. He is the biggest dog I have ever seen in my life and he is such a sweetie! We can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was there, and we HIGHLY recommend Canyon Crest Lodge!

Greeted with offer of wine or beer. Valerie is a charming host and the grounds are spectacular! Yummy breakfast each morning and enjoyed sitting outside watching the deer stroll by and taking in the view! Very clean and comfortable room! Great hiking nearby and 15 minute drive into Pagosa Springs where we enjoyed the hot springs and good adult beverages! The hosts make you feel like part of the family!

This bed and breakfast was the perfect spot for my husband and I. It was close to the town of Pagosa Springs but far enough away to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. Valerie and Rod were excellent hosts who were very helpful in offering tips about the area and they ensured our visit was perfect, to include flowers and bubbly for the room. The rooms and overall (spacious) house is very warm, cozy, and classy. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

There is only one word to describe the beauty and wonder of Canyon Crest Lodge - breathtaking! We hosted our closest family and friends there for a destination wedding in mid August and our expectations were far exceeded. Valerie is not only a most gracious hostess, but also a very capable wedding planner. She took care of absolutely everything - from dinner, wedding cake, DJ and photography with great results! The decor inside our tent was an impeccable woodland theme and it was evident that careful attention was given to the most minute details. Every recommendation Valerie gave us, from planning rehearsal dinners to extra curricular activities with our guests were spot on, and in addition to attending my daughter's dream wedding, wonderful memories were in the days prior to the event. ||The carefully cultivated gardens were an exquisite backdrop for the ceremony. The rooms inside the house were beautifully staged for pre-ceremony photos and we had a room akin to a green room to relax, enjoy snacks and get ready. ||I cannot stress enough that even the most beautiful photographs you will find on the internet of Canyon Crest pale in comparison to standing and experiencing this mystical . Although difficult to describe, I will attempt to do so - I felt fully enveloped in the raw mountainous beauty of ancient holy ground, a place that exists unblemished by time and the cares of the world. I highly recommend Canyon Crest Lodge for your mountain wedding destination!||

Beautiful setting on the bluffs in forested area with beautiful view of valley. Owners are delightful and attentive to all your needs. Rooms are beautiful, each individually decorated. Quiet and peaceful environment with pretty garden and grounds. Breakfast was always great; tables all set with lovely linens; very personable service. Would definitely return at another time. Convenient to town and restaurants.

Canyon Crest Lodge is a beautiful and serene retreat! Close to all Pagosa Springs has to offer, yet tucked away from the crowds. The accommodations are cozy, the breakfast is delicious, and the friendly hosts, Allan and Morgan, are the icing on the cake! I highly recommend this place for your Pagosa getaway and look forward to staying again during my next visit!

Labor Day Weekend 2017. While in visiting Pagosa Springs for the 4 Corners Folk Festival, my husband Patrick, and I stayed 2 nights in the Buckingham Palace room at Canyon Crest Lodge. Valerie and Rod were gracious hosts, along with Bobo (bear security specialist 🙂 The house and grounds are beautiful. The room and beds are comfortable. Valerie cooked a lovely homemade breakfast every morning. It felt like staying with family. Patrick and I highly recommend. We've stayed in many B&B's across the U S. Canyon Crest is a rare treat!

Stayed here for 8 days, and loved every moment of it! The owners are so friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the 3 rooms over the barn. There was a small kitchenette complete with mini frig, micro, coffee pot and completely stocked with dishes. Bathroom was large stocked with towels. Bedroom and dining/sitting area large with tv. Perfect size for hubby and I. Location was great, as everything was close enough to get to, while still lodging in beautiful country side. Owners have put years into landscaping their property and it shows. They also host weddings, & had 2 while we were there.
