This is a very good place to stay in Sedona. It's about 15 minutes out of town on the beautiful Rt 89A scenic road. We were a little worried going there, as most of the reviews for this place were two years old when it was under other management, so we worried that maybe it had changed a lot. The prior owners were on site, as I understand, whereas it's now self-catering. Our stay was very nice and smooth. It's a very cozy cabin with a nice little kitchenette. The decor is nice. We would definitely stay there again.

At the last minute after booking in advance plus paying. The ORIGINAL place for some reason we were moved to this location less than honestly maybe 8-10 hours. We we’re lost! Had to stay at a hotel on CHRISTMAS!!!!! The following dsy we finally found the most cozy cabin. We lost an entire day. Only give 20% discount after we were moved last minute.

As for this cabin. It’s a great place to stay. Very clean, we loved it.

This is my honest review.

Fyi.

I would go there again.

We stayed in the Sycamore cabin. This property is now run by a remote management company and it needs maintenance. As another reviewer wrote, the bathroom ceiling is covered with dead gnats that apparently got stuck when the paint was wet. I would repaint just so it looks fresh, but at least they didn’t affect anything. However, other things were more impactful. The light over the stove was out. The ceiling fan didn’t work. The mattress was nice but the bed frame creaked so badly that if either of us rolled over it woke the other up so we slept poorly the entire trip. The upstairs door lock is coming apart. I believe I got it secured, but this definitely feels like a safety issue. Picture below. ||The location can’t be beat but they definitely need to do some maintenance.

My husband and I stayed here 22 years ago on our honeymoon and came back to celebrate our 22 year anniversary in the same cabin. We were really excited, but were quickly disappointed in our stay:/ the cabin was clean, but needed a deep clean! The bathroom ceiling was covered in bugs and we found quite a few cob webs throughout the cabin. I ended up with a gnarly bug bite. We stayed for a few days and if we needed assistance or extra towels it was an extra charge, so we just ended up going and buying our own towels. The grounds were very unkept and overgrown and the outside furniture was pretty dirty. Before, it was so cute and well kept. I’m pretty sure the bed was the same bed from 22 years ago and definitely needs to be replaced. We woke up pretty sore each morning. In a place like this, there should be a comfy king sized bed. I’m very sad this place has gone down hill. It has great potential and is a cozy area, but it needs some love! We probably won’t stay here again when we visit Sedona:/

Slide rock was very busy so we parked here to figure out what to do next, Luis walked up and offered us to visit their local private creek for $50. We went down to the creek and it’s beautiful and not too busy. Unfortunately our dog was being difficult so we had to leave, and Luis kindly offered a full refund. Just really appreciate that level of service.

My daughter and I visited Canyon Wren Cabins and stayed in the Honeysuckle cabin. What a great 'Girls' Weekend!! The cabin was cozy and quaint, spacious and well equipped, and Mike and Milena were both awesome! They were very welcoming, willing to help, yet let you have your privacy while enjoying their wonderful 'outdoor sanctuary'. They were also very attentive to cleaning and health during these 'unique travel times'. Great hiking and nature all within walking distance. I'd highly recommend this great place! So much so, my husband and I went there too and stayed in one of the larger chalet cabins. It was a very romantic and peaceful weekend away. Thank you Mike and Milena!! We will DEFINITELY return!!

You can tell this property was once well cared for and is now being neglected by Absolute Luxury Management. Cabin was dusty, had some maintenance issues, and the grounds were looking run down. Booking online was a huge hassle and required a $250 security deposit which was held for A FULL MONTH!? Would not stay again... really a shame since it's in a beautiful location and close to downtown.
