We’re from Oregon and have had the privilege of this experience with Captain Casey twice in the past 5 years. Most recently was this January, and both times have been the most memorable part of our trips. We don’t have a lot of experience on the water and Casey’s laid back personality and knowledge of the area/wildlife made us all feel safe and comfortable. This is such a fun and unique experience for kids of all ages as well as adults. The first time we went my kids were 4 and 7 — now 8 and 11 and caught fish both trips. Toward the end of our excursion my 8 year old wasn’t having much luck with a catch. We were running out of time but Casey took the time to find the perfect spot and helped my son cast and get a fish on, and then coached him reeling it in. That really meant a lot to us! It is obvious that he loves what he does. We saw lots of wildlife - dolphins (one jumped right by the boat and splashed us), jellyfish, manatee, birds, and several different species of fish. We also spent some time looking for shells and creatures on the sandbars. Casey has such a warm and genuine personality and made us all feel welcome right away. Can’t recommend him enough. If you’re on the fence about booking with Captain Casey, just DO IT! You won’t be disappointed.

Went out with Capt. Casey today and had a great time! We saw manatees, dolphins, and of course fish. He was super helpful and patient with us and our family! Our son had the first catch with this cool puffer fish.

This was my second adventure with Captain Casey and it was just as amazing as the first one! He showed us an abundance of sea life including manatees, dolphins, crabs and urchins as well as Osprey and a night heron which I had never seen before. Casey is very knowledgeable of the Siesta Key/Sarasota area and finds all the beautiful places and wildlife to view!! Thanks for another wonderful day! Can’t wait to break another adventure with you!

We had an absolute blast with Captain Casey! He hustled his tail off for our party of 6, making sure every hook was never without bait! He explained all the history of the area and made it so much fun, especially when we made some stops at cool and interesting places! We had so much fun we even extended our day! We have now gone fishing out with captain Casey two years in a row. The kids love fishing with him and he always knows the rights spots to catch fish. He’s quick at responding and always fits us into his schedule.

Celebrating my 35th birthday my dad brother and I decided to go on a much needed fishing trip. I decided to contact Casey who is not only a great neighbor but a very knowledgeable fishing charter out of our home town of Sarasota. He was able to get us out on the water in some not so great conditions. We were looking at some hefty winds, cool temperatures, and a two tide day. But, within two fishing spots we had dinner and my personal best redfish. We were then able to adventure around the bay and gulf looking for our next target. We landed roughly 20 fish with species including: redfish, flounder, sheepshead, snook, grouper, yellowtail jack, mangrove snapper, lizard fish, and the biggest pin fish I have ever seen. Couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water, and we are booking our next trip as soon as we can. Thank you captain Casey!!

Had a fun morning on the water with Capt Casey. Caught lots of fish, did some shelling, saw several dolphin, wading birds & ospreys. He is super chill and has tons of local knowledge. Everyone had fun!

Family Friendly Adventure! We highly recommend Captain Casey, who picked my family up from our VRBO rental and took us out for a half day on the Pontoon. He showed us all around the gulf to find dolphins, sea urchins and more seashells than my kids could pickup. He was amazing and playful with my girls (4&6), which was a relief for any parent looking for this kind of vacation adventure. The best part for my kids was when Captain Casey let them play with the fish bait on boat, a memory they will not forget and they still tell everyone how cool it was to have their own Captain. There are “No Bad Days” with Captain Casey..contact him for your next adventure, you won't regret it!!
