Great boating club. How great is it to take out a docked boat ( no trailer games) with a full tank of gas, have a great time on the sound, and then bring it back with no worries about cleaning it or filling up the gas tank. The management is awesome - Tara is so nice and helpful. Eric spent hours teaching us how to operate the boat. No charge ! Just a great experience all around.

Just joined the club this year. Today was my final test and I will now begin to enjoy my membership.
I have to say working with both Captain Eric and Tara has been great. Eric is a great teacher and made the process very informative and easy to follow. Even though I have been boating for over 35 years, I still learned alot from him. He is very thorough and makes sure to set you up for a successful and enjoyable boating experience.

Really nice boats and staff at the Clinton Location!!! We have lots of fun, without all the hassles of owning! I only wish summer was longer! Thank you Tara and Eric!

2023 boating season is open! We love both Clinton and Noank locations. They are excellent for both fishing and pleasure boating. Great people at the Carefree club as well.

We are starting our 3rd year with Carefree Boat Club and it’s been an excellent experience. Boats are new and clean, the staff is awesome and the amenities at the marinas are a fabulous plus. Instructors make sure your captains feel comfortable as they will train you as much as you’d like. The whole process of a Carefree boating day is easy from start to finish. We highly recommend you give Carefree a try, don’t pass another summer by without it!

Unfortunately my past good review needs to go bad. I just renewed my two year agreement this year. I’m being deployed oversees for work and approached carefree to either pause or cancel my membership. I was quickly informed that there is no way to pause the membership and to cancel will cost me $2000 dollars plus two months of membership costs. So roughly 3 thousand dollars to get out to this membership that I have no way of using. I’m so disappointed and had no idea it would be like this. Lesson learned. What I learned is I will never do business with this company again

This has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s far exceeded my expectations. I had been thinking about buying a boat for years. The main thing holding me up was not having practical hands on experience using and docking a boat. I’ve had my boaters license for years and been on plenty of boats. Learning how to correctly use a boat is tough from just a 1 day course. Also the thoughts of maintenance, slip rentals, winterizing and general upkeep ultimately kept me from buying one. All of these concerns went away with Carefree boating. To start off I received excellent hands on training. This training gave me full confidence in my ability to use these boats and understand all the associated safety aspects as well. So far, I’ve had no issue in reserving a boat for when I need it. They have plenty of them. Also, these are not old used rental boats. These are new, excellent cared for boats filled with all needed electronics and comfortable steering. Typical experience is reserving a time, reservation system is super easy and you have the ability to pick the type of boat you want. Once at the marina the carefree staff is there to meet you. They bring you to the boat, check things over and make sure everyone is ready. Coming back in they are right there to assist docking and tying off the boat. Upon docking, I’m usually back in my car with my family in 5 minutes. No staying to make sure everything is secured, cleaned and put away. They take care of all of it!! It’s rare to find something that’s actually better then advertised, but this truly is. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Highly recommend care free boating!

I joined the club this year after being a boat owner for 2 years and I will say it is phenomenal. Eric trained me before going out on my own and taught me things to make my boating easier, safer and more enjoyable.

I would highly recommend this boat club. The boats are nice, new and I can’t wait to start getting out on the water this season!!
