Ridgetop Eco Adventure Tour was fantastic! My wife and I sat in the second row of the Hummer (directly behind the driver). I am 6'03" and I found that spot to have plenty of room. The tour took us to high elevations and the back of the island where the views were amazing! At one point we got up close and personal with a large bison that was just hanging out. The driver/tour guide was outstanding. He provided a great narrative with great music and he was hilarious. My only caution is to reiterate the part about people with back or neck problems probably shouldn't do this one. This was not slow rock crawling like I was used to, it was constant movement over bumpy terrain. That being said, I got my 4-wheeling fix in while seeing the sights and learning some history. Great tour!

Bear was our tour guide. He was so pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a beautiful view and a lot of fun facts sprinkled in the tour! 30 year waiting period to get a normal vehicle on the island stuck with me!

If you like bison jokes, the outdoors, beautiful views, and actual heros for tour guides, I highly recommend this using Catalina Tours. The bison adventure was the perfect length of time for a day trip, as it still gave us time to explore the town of Catalina

Took the bison tour through Royal Caribbean. Our guide Rob was great, very knowledgeable about island history, local lore and wildlife and made perfect music choices for certain parts of the journey (esp Indiana Jones theme!). The ride was exhilarating but at times a bit rough and dusty as advertised. Great views of all sides of the island. 10/10 recommend.

I visited the island for my anniversary. (March 2023) And my first time taking the bison tour, Halvy gave me one of the best tours me and my fiancee have ever had. Absolute experience we'll never forget. this man knew everything about the island and more. truly loves his job the way he gives 110% in his tour of the island, loved his dishwasher story and his joyful uplifting attitude. Really enjoyed the tour. Saw a bison, which was the highlight!! The views were gorgeous. The guides were lovely and very informative. Loved the airport in the sky. Did this as a family trip. Kids enjoyed it, too. My only thoughts are that it’s really pricey, for what you get. And the Jeeps could use a good interior cleaning (or maybe change the seat covers and wash them everyonce in a while). Other than that- great experience!!

Our tour guide Bear was awesome. We enjoyed our excursions (Discover Avalon and Journey to the Sky) and would gladly do them again. Highly recommended. FYI Journey to the Sky is not on a bus it's on a Hummer. Even more fun.

Carlos was an excellent guide throughout the 2-3 tour, providing informative and entertaining commentary, enhancing the scenic experience. The weather in December was cold and we needed sweaters, but the company provided blankets, ensuring comfort during the chilly ride. The sighting of one bison, given their scarce numbers, added a unique touch to the tour, making it an unforgettable experience.
