I can't say enough great things about Chef Tyler and his incredible team at Catering by Cleavers! We recently celebrated my daughter's wedding, and ordering catering felt like a monumental task—especially since we wanted everything to be flawless. From the moment we chose Tyler, it was clear that we were in capable hands.
My biggest worry going into the day was managing the flow of guests through the buffet. I've been to weddings where the lines felt endless, and that was not how I wanted our celebration to feel, especially when there were memories to be made on the dance floor! Chef Tyler completely understood this concern and delivered beyond my expectations.
To our delightful surprise, all 250 guests were graciously and efficiently served within just 25 minutes. It was exquisite to see everyone indulging in the delicious dishes while effortlessly mingling. Tyler and his team’s attention to detail and commitment to providing a fantastic experience allowed our guests to truly enjoy the evening without the hassle of waiting in long lines.
Each dish was thoughtfully crafted—the flavors, the presentation, everything was just perfect! They truly have an artist's touch when it comes to food that transforms a meal into a memorable experience. We were able to focus on dancing and celebrating, knowing that everyone was well taken care of.

My mother attended a wedding catered by Chef Tyler and she insisted I book him for her 70th birthday party. She was not wrong!! Chef Tyler made the entire party so easy! From helping with the food choices to accommodating my allergies, Chef Tyler can do it all! Everything was delicious and served with a smile. Chef Tyler made my Mother’s Day absolutely perfect and my Aunts haven’t been able to stop talking about him since. 😁I’m easily Mom’s favorite now!! We will be using Catering by Cleavers again!

Cleavers Catered an event that I was at. Absolutely great presentation and the food was awesome. Appetizers we're light and extremely flavorful. The chicken I had was so full of flavor and JUICY! We got to attend an event here this weekend and WOW! This is a beautiful small-to-mid size event space! We had about 25 people and it wasn’t at all full so it could hold many more. The whole atmosphere of the place is amazing! Truly a “hidden gem” in Sioux Falls. If you’re looking for a space to hold an event, make sure to check them out.

I've had the pleasure to work with Chef Tyler multiple times over the last 10 years; every experience has been a top 10! His planning and communication are thorough, food is delicious, staff is professional, and service always top notch. Most recently, Cleaver's catered our company ribbon cutting event. I'm pretty sure some people came just for the food! Every detail exceeded my expectation. My recommendation - start by giving Chef Tyler the freedom to create menu. His creations are always better than what I initially think I want.
