Absolutely fantastic tour! We loved it! Our tour guides were full of interesting stories and made the underground caverns a great trip. They also had a great gift shop, a small playground and restrooms available. Plenty of free parking as well. We will be going back this summer.

We had an amazing time! Be prepared to to crawl and climb. The guides/owners were very knowledgable and made the experience a lot of fun. I suggest knee pads. They will supply you with gloves to wear and they were a necessity! Good boots and proper clothing can help make the experience a lot better.

So much freaking fun! One of the best adventures of my life so far. The cave is breathtaking and the family that owns and run the business are very friendly and hospitable. Ticket isn’t cheap, but honestly it’s worth every penny and more. Can’t wait to go again! P.s. I’m so afraid of heights that I’ll literally turn pale and my knees began to shake, I was terrified about the original climb into the cave. Just don’t look down the hole before you start climbing and you’ll be fine. if I can handle it, anyone can.

A unique and amazing tour! It is family owned and run. They are very friendly and helpful. They offered us suggestions for other things to do while in the area and places to eat. You will tour a primitive cave, not one carved out with walkways by man. You will crawl and climb your way though while the guides explain and point out neat features throughout the cave. You will get dirty so bring a change of clothes and a trash bag! Definitely recommend for a more adventurous journey.

Went spelunking in this Ohio cave, this was an amazing experience. I’m currently reading this book about Floyd Collins, and his adventures in caves. It’s got this passage in it that reads.. “staying underground for days at a time. Often they would bring out Indian relics, which Turner packed in boxes and sent away. As the weeks passed, they became more and more enthusiastic about their work.
Turner was apparently well satisfied with the results.
At first they talked freely about their explorations, showing us maps Turner had made of the passages they had surveyed. But then a change occurred. No longer did Turner permit us to see his maps. His survey notes were kept under lock. When they talked about their work, the conversation became guarded.
From that time forward, everything was secret.
Ordinarily when men make a discovery, they are eager to let the world know about it. Why the secrecy? Floyd and Turner had undoubtedly discovered something worthwhile. This was evident from their actions and enthusiasm. It seemed that they should have been proud to show their discoveries to other people. But cavers such as Floyd and Edmund Turner are not ordinary people. A cave explorer goes through unbelievably difficult places, risking his life to reach some remote passage where no man has set foot before. And once in a lifetime, with luck, he makes a truly outstanding discovery.
Perhaps it is a rare and beautiful formation. The remoteness adds to its beauty. It has never been seen by any human being; maybe no one should ever see it after him. He thinks of the commercialized caves, the crowds of tourists laughing, dropping candy wrappers and cigarette butts, looking for every opportunity to pick up a souvenir or scratch initials on the rocks. Is it worthwhile? Are people so important?
There below ground, hidden and silent, hallowed by the absence of man, somehow things seem right as they are.” I couldn’t agree more with how this business operates, I wish them nothing but success as cave owner’s and tour guides. If you get the chance to travel through this amazing cave, it’s a must do.

Absolutely loved this tour! It was so neat to have a private tour and crawl around the caves. The guides were great about preparing us for different sections we were getting into (needing to duck) and telling us facts about formations around us. You have to wear long sleeves and pants (trust me you want to for all the mud) and good grip shoes. Bring a change of clothes and garbage bag to put dirty clothes in. They set up a changing room for you afterwards. Ryan takes lots of pictures for you with his phone and air drops them to you at the end. Everyone was super friendly and even gave us great recommendations for where to eat afterwards on our way to our Airbnb.

The kids and I really enjoyed our adventure at Cave Adventures, LLC. Our tour guides, a mother-son duo, were amazing! If you haven't tried this close to home spelunking adventure, I suggest you do. I will tell you to expect mud and water and prepare for it. Thank you Ryan, Roger and Susan for a wonderful afternoon!!
