A super fun experience all around. The staff were very accommodating, and Sam was a great tour guide. He gave us lots of interesting information about the area, told funny stories about the horses, and made sure we all understood what to do. I would definitely go back, & very competitive prices!

My Family and I did this Desert Horseback Riding experience, and we loved it! It was my first time riding a horse it was so fun. Our guide was Sam he was so informative and told us all about the cool things in the desert as we rode our horses through the trails. Our ride lasted an hour and a half and when we came in we were surprised by a delicious, homemade lunch! thank you Sam!

5/5 for the horseback riding!! This was such an amazing experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone! It was my first time ever riding a horse and I felt super safe and wasn’t scared at all. They went over the instructions at the beginning and reassured all of our questions. Rick was our guide and he was fantastic!! Super friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Everyone should use this ranch who’s interested in horseback riding!

Great time. Definite “glad I did it” people and place. Did an hour long ride, then lunch, and quick cowboy events (Rick our guide did great job of honoring our time restraints as we were heading straight to airport from the ranch.) The only flaw was we were rushed so couldn’t spend more time there getting to know the folks who made us feel so at home. Rick is cowboy, lifetime on and around horses and such fun to get to know, as were all the others…like a Brit cowboy viaConnecticut to America’s SW. The food was good, fresh off grill and more than we could eat. The ride was gorgeous, and our horses were easy going but definitely had personality. Hope one day to return and spend much longer there. Don’t miss this treat.

The host when we first showed up was amazing... He was super friendly and very talkative.

The tour itself was sadly very boring... The horses only walk which made for a very long hour and a half. And they literally follow a path which they've written down into a rut.

Our guide was Desiree who was very nice, but she seemed very shy. Which if you're in tour business is not very good. She didn't really explain anything and when she tried she was very quiet.

If you're looking to ride horses not walk this is not the place for you.

On a positive note the scenery is awesome.

My boyfriend and I did an hour long trail ride for a date over labor day. The staff was kind and knowledgeable and made it the perfect horseback experience. Views were gorgeous and the horses were very sweet - absolutely worth every penny! A great activity if you come from out of town.

Wonderful time on our hour and a half ride! Loved riding around in the National Forest. Lily was an excellent guide!! You can tell she enjoys her job and loves the horses! She is a keeper!! We will visit again and ask for her!!

What a great day we had with Pam!!! She was so friendly and welcoming. We rode for 1.5 hours and then had an amazing homemade lunch that was delicious. Also got to play cowboy games. Honestly we didn’t want to leave. If your in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area take the time to ride with Cave Creek Outfitters you won’t be disappointed.
