This place is truly for people of all abilities! My daughter wanted to do horseback riding, but was anxious about trying. I reached out to Amanda, and she was fantastic! She explained how tame their horses were, and how the staff would work with my daughter, advancing her at her pace. We went out to visit, and decided to give it a try. Fast forward to today, a year later, and my daughter is still loving it. She got startled once (a few month ago) when they let her practice trotting on her own. (Please note that I never once worried about my daughter dring the trot that startled her. She was in a safe environment the whole time. And when she got scared, a staff member stepped right in to stop the horse.) Best of all, they didn't make her feel bad about it. They took it easy for a little while, and slowly (at her pace) have been increasing her independence again. This has been a wonderful experience that I would recommend whole heartedly!

I was looking to get involved in something and someone suggested here. I never really knew what this place was up until that point so I looked into what they are about and I started volunteering right away. With a great purpose and mission along with great people that make everything happen, this place is awesome!

Awesome experience for special needs children. They ride a horse and do physical therapy at the same time. Horses have a calming effect and children are very receptive to do physical therapy while sitting on the horse.
