The staff was very friendly. The room was nice, quiet and the overall aesthetic of the hotel is cheery and colorful. It's very close to the convention center. So it worked out perfect for me. I'd definitely plan on staying there again when I come back next year.

Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer breakfast and didn’t bother to tell us this before booking a room. Also, in the morning, be prepared for them to knock on your door — and if you don’t answer, they have a master key where they will come right on in on you. What if I was in the shower? Indecent? That should never happen during your stay.

I stayed for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend but was not at all in fact I left more stressed than when I got there. First I'm single female on a budget and I'm sick and tired of being cheated, false advertised and scammed out of my hard earned money at check in was told amount 75 dollar deposit I told her was not told this in advance she acted like she didn't understand English I also paid 25 early check in when I first got to my room I needed use the bathroom there was no toilet paper just 2 empty rollers. I tried. Calling front desk the phone had no instructions for using but I dialed zero no one answered so I went down and asked for toilet paper she looked like she didn't believe me. I asked for pool towels and again made to feel like I'm going to steal their cheap ugly pool towels I asked about dialing from the room she said she didn't know.my coffee pot in room had the grounds from previous use clearly not cleaned.they price gauge customers charging 3 can of soda and 3 candy bars. The advertisement said heated pool and was freezing cold the elevator on the 3rd floor was not level and I tripped hurting my ankle when I the bathtub could see black ring of dirt around the inside toilet when I went out to grab lunch came back and 6 grown men wearing turbines where sitting on the ground outside my room making me feel unsafe.but the worse was when I checked out he said wait while someone checks your room he said the bedding has stains and. Showed me pictures that could been from any room I said so normal use should wash out no my laundrier says it's stained so now I get it so how much to purchase I asked he said he didn't know then how to you know what to charge for replacement cost then.i have never been treated so rudely and dishonest I will never stay there again and neither should you.treat your customers like you would want to be treated horrible experience I don't like being treated like a thief and a liar to many better places to stay so for 2 nights end up costing me 300 at this poorly run hotel. They should be ashamed don't waste your money

Arrived at hotel and checked in. My total was supposed to be 263. I was charged 267. Granted that may not seem like a lot but for those on a budget it is and when I asked about it, the lady just said "oh well the lady that checked you in charged you out price and not the app price, I'll make sure she doesn't do it anymore" but then said thete was nothjng she could do about overcharging me. They also charge a $75 fee when you check in. You are supposed to get that back when you check out and can take 5-10 days to receive it. There is no breakfast! The "heated" Indoor pool was freezing cold. There was an odor throughout the hotel and the trash cans were overflowing and smelt horrible. There were no lights in the stairs and on the first floor stairway there was a trash bin that was all over the floor and stairs, not to mention the handle to the stairway was broke and you couldn't open without using something. We took the stairs due to the elevator being sketchy. We road it the first time it shook and bounced the entire ride. There were no vending machines and the little "store" they had was ridiculously overpriced! $3 for a can of Pepsi!
Do not recommend at all!

This place is insane. I booked a room from Friday to Monday. I get there after hours due to my flight being delayed. They tell me they cancelled my reservation. I’m so lost. On top of that I attempted calling and no one picks up the phone. At this point it’s 2 am in the morning. The lady at the desk (Jonny I think her name was) she was very rude and unprofessional. That made me pay for a whole nother room. I had no other option at that moment. I get in my room and it’s dirty, hair all over the bed also, The hear does Not work this room at all. This has been my worst experience yet and I travel often. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOW STAY THERE.

They are a decent hotel if you are desperate for a place to stay. If you have other options, go with those! Do not waste your money here.

The main issue I have with this establishment is that they randomly charged me $55 due to “a stain on the comforter.” It is impossible for the comforters to be stained since none of the guests consumed any food in the beds. The details of the stains were also very vague. They claimed to have pictures, but again, there were no stains when the guests left.

The party was on Saturday (05/11/24) but they didn’t try to charge my card until today (Wednesday, 05/15/24). They either are just now cleaning the rooms (which is disgusting) or they are mistakingly adding a charge to my card for the wrong room. I was trying to explain to the manager that I should not have been charged days after the party. I should have been contacted and given the right to consent to these extra charges. I DO NOT recommend this establishment. They are very shady and will make up details on the spot to get extra money out of you.

Furthermore, there is no complimentary breakfast even though there are signs stating that it is offered (you will see no complementary breakfast on the bottom of your receipt when you purchase the room, which is very tacky since the complementary breakfast sign is the first thing you see when you go up the stairs). The showers had pink slime in the corners of the tub and soap dish. The common areas had dust on them. The air quality was also very dusty. However, we overlooked all of this because the rest of the room was decently clean and we wanted to be positive since we booked the rooms for my niece’s birthday party. Again, make this hotel your last resort. Do not purchase anything from this establishment if you have other options.

HORRIBLE!
I called and reserved 2 rooms with 2 beds each that were adjoining month ago. A week ago I called to check the reservation and was told they were not adjoining rooms. The desk corrected it and assured me it was done. I called the day before because I could not remember check in time. I was told again they were not adjoining and before hanging up I was once again advised it was corrected.
Upon arrival August 2, 2024, I checked in and were given 2 rooms, the last thing I asked was “are they adjoining?” and was told yes. We go to the room and open the door and there was a no access to the next room so we opened the hall door and there was only 1 bed. Back down to the lobby front desk to complain and we’re given 2 more rooms. Back up to the new rooms given and opened the door, there was such a foul odor to the point it was hard to breathe. The room was connected to the next room but we had to move the furniture to get to the door. Once we open it there was a shawl hung between the 2 rooms. Back downstairs I went and about this time I was very upset. I was given another set of rooms and they were finally correct.
The rooms were clean however having to use a CPAP machine to sleep there were no outlets available. The lamps had outlets on them but did not work. Another lamp in the room did not work all together. There was crayon that marked up the wall, chunks of sheetrock missing, paint chipping off in the bathrooms.
We were thankful for the room availability since our room at the hotel we normally stay was lost. We were in town for a convention and this was all we could get. But I do know that my group of friends and I will never stay here again. If I could give no stars I would have.

Staying at Chester Inn & Suites has been an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with such warmth and friendliness that I felt at home. Even the owner is very friendly as well.
This was especially important to me as it was my first day in Cincinnati, and I didn’t feel like I was far away from home at all. The atmosphere here is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comforting environment!
