As a Travel Consultant, Travel 2 has always been a great company for our South Pacific business. They have a very knowledgeable sales staff who have personally been to many of the destinations we sell. Our sales manager Ward Reid is the best in the business! Always willing to help in any situation and eager to help us get as many people to the beautiful South Pacific! We made reservations for Australia for a trip we took in Jan. & Feb. Some things were ok but we had some issues. We were given an itinerary where nothing was itemized and she refused to itemize anything. We were overcharged for more than one thing which we discovered after we got to Australia. We had paid for breakfast for every day. We did not ask for it, did not want it, and were not told we had it. We were given a partial refund but it was a few days til we realized it and therefore lost that money. One of our transfers did not show up and we took a cab. The cab was $20 but we were charged $70 for a transfer. We had 10 transfers so how much extra money was that? The ride was only about 10 minutes-$70? We were also dropped at the wrong terminal and had to walk with our luggage in the rain to a different terminal. When I told her she denied it but how would she know since she wasn"t there. No apology. Several pick-up times were not included so we made multiple calls while in Australia. On one flight we were told we had to get food since we had already paid for it. Weren't told about that and we did not want it. Since when do you purchase food in advance of your flight? All in all we paid way too much for what we received.
